3/2022........So cool! I've just been digging all these Jeff Lorber posts, that I never saw before. So many great performances on You Tube,...They are my great escape from the misery of the last 2 to 3 years of the world wide plague, we all barely survived. I guess being locked down, isolated in my house, has lead me to find all this great music. Thanks for posting,.....this stuff lasts forever. It never gets stale,...even if it is 12 years old. Like fine wine and bourbon, it ages well.
WOW!! Been checking the various latter-day JLF line ups (seen two of them live myself)...but can't help but feel cheated at not having seen this line-up...incendiary...en fuego!! This performance was FIYAH!! Thanks for sharing!
@tonartification...thanks took a listen, Nate is a wonderful talent, love that funky slap...still hear a bit of it on Brisn Culbertson's live from the inside cuts with Lamar Jones
Toads Place was located in New Haven Connecticut not far from the Yale University Campus. Jeff played there all the time when he first got started in the 70's. I've seen Jeff and his bands more than any other act at Toads Place since I started going to shows in the early 70's. I no longer live in Connecticut, but I believe Toads Place is still open.
@tonartification Novack can play with anyone, but Will kennedy would be amazing...Haslip and Nathan East are so far above...But Stanley Clarke may be the best.

Jeff Lorber Fusion...always tight! Victor Bailey holding down the low end...yeah!
Toads Place was a great place to see Jeff Lorber Fusion over the years. Especially when they first got started. I saw them at Toads many many times.
Daryl Ancrum Thanx Daryl, good to know. So Jeff starts to play there in the late 70s? Where was this venue placed? - Mike

mel gibson
Danny Wilson is the baddest bassist for Jeff Lorber followed by Randy Jackson America idol
Who is it Bailey or Phillips ?
Victor Bailey not Nathaniel Phillips
hoffentlich, aber nicht von mir, sry. :)
Sax player could have stop soloing and let the drummer take it for a while sax players is playing a bunch of notes and ain't saying shit .
Love it but I hate the drummers cymbals too much white noise.
Nature of the cymbals baby. Zildjian
