I hate to sound selfish and insensitive here, but while I understand the reasons for separating, I will forever miss this era of Issues dearly. I hope all parties heal well in the process.
When did Issues say they would break up? LOL dude they just kicked Tyler out of the band, that's it. The band is not Tyler Carter Project, its ISSUES bro. A singer don't make a band bud, a group of people do, to create music as a whole, record it, release it, tour, etc. The band has to move on, and we still don't know if they're coming back or not, but if they do, they will have another dude sing and they'll keep on going. Its like what happened to Northlane with Adrian leaving, everybody just assumes once a “important“ member of a band quits the band immediately ends their career, and that's just not always the case LMAO. Look at Northlane now bro, they made 3 spectacular albums since then and they found Marcus, who is an insanely talented and gifted singer. Imagine if that happens to Issues, it will all just be for the better. It doesn't matter if they do eventually come back or not, they will make a choice that they will find to be the best for them and their future, and that is what matters at the end of the day.

Tyler finally got what he wanted. Rid of Michael, and to be the frontman of a band. Broke up Woe, Is Me for a terrible “pop-artist” career that went NOWHERE fast. Then played like Michael’s friend till they got their foot in the door. Then you said “I can move this in my OWN direction if I boot Michael.” 🤷🏻♂️🤣 am i wrong?
Issues will never be the same without Tyler carter. Tyler fucked up but I believe in second chances.

he definitely can, but its loud as fuck on stage. i was at this exact concert, and he gave us a small acoustic performance which was flawless.
Actually the backing vocals are fairly nonexistent. If I muted his live vocal track the whole song would fall apart. The band is actually really really tight. Made mixing this really easy and fun. The only backing track stuff is another guitar for left and right mixing. And some trap beat and sub drops. But this I'd say is 85% really the band.
I actually like that he has the backing track there at the volume it's at. Cause you can tell it's there when he doesn't song but its so quiet you couldn't get away with relying on it

@@Wally4Real its a real shit one man. I been following Mike and Tyler since A Path Less Travelled (like 2009 ish I think). Transitioned into Woe is Me and then Issues. When Mike left/got kicked I was super bummed and now Tyler. And I live out in South Africa so we dont get many bands out here but they started coming recently (Just saw Crown the Empire before Corona) but ye no chance of seeing what is easily my favorite band. its a bummer situation.
risty I saw them last July (2019) because they were playing the same festival as my band. Josh and the band killed it but Tyler sucked. You aren’t missing much other than josh absolutely ripping it up. Tyler sounds pretty bad live.
I wish they'd bring Michael back (idk, there'd probably be bad vibes though) and get someone else to do clean vocals. The style Tyler does isn't as uncommon as it felt when Number[s] came out, so they could most likely get someone.
@@Wally4Real I've been a fan since the very very beginning, like Black Diamonds EP... and always will be. It's really shitty what Tyler's done because he's very talented and his whole career is essentially destroyed but I'm excited to see what they'll do now that AJs the vocalist now!

AJ is a hidden gem in the scene. Who would've thought such a nasty screamer was hiding as the Issues guitar player all this time. He should front a full on Djent band with Josh Travis or something
I mean, Issues is already getting pretty djenty. But I hope the next album has more of his vocals. I was so disappointed that this was the only song on Beautiful Oblivion that had him screaming, save for some quick backing vocals on Downfall and Second Best.

This was recorded PERFECTLY, Issues played SPOT ON, and that bass boom at 3:46 and how they broke it back in was sooo sharp and sooo badass! Amazing job Caliber TV and Issues! THAT is an incredible damn performance!!!

I went to see Crown The Empire back in 2013 and Issues was the supporting band. Back then, not many people knew who issues were. I remember after the show, everyone was in line to meet CTE, and I was at the back. Tyler was stood right next to me on his phone just chilling. I thought about saying hi and how good the show was. Anxiety stopped me, and now I so regret not going to say hi. Fuck anxiety, man.
As someone who deals with anxiety as well, I also have great difficulty with starting a conversation with strangers and artists at shows. Just keep in mind there are a lot of people out there who go through the same shit, you're not alone. It's never too late to try and break the boundaries your anxiety sets for you, to challenge yourself to break out of it. It's a long and difficult process with a lot of ups and downs, but it'll be totally worth it in the end, you just have to keep trying. Wishing you all the best.
