The stock handlebars were breaking my elbow even after pulling towards me. Watched you video and went for the Renthal Road low and guess what the motorcycle fitted like a glove, amazing!!! I drilled 2 holes on the handle bar and did not use any guide. I marked those studs on the clutch/throttle assembly with nail polish which made impression/markers on the bar. I started drilling with the smallest drill bit and slowly progressed to the 5mm. Thank you so much for the Road Low : ). Mine is a euro 5 and cuts out at every intersection, the tiniest of blip on the throttle...deceleration the engine cuts out but starts straightaway as soon as I hit the self start button. Will take it to the dealer to figure out. Kudos in the Road Low and you rock!!
Thanks for your comment, I'm glad it helped. I hear that the cutting out issue is quite common with the euro 5 models. I hope that it will be resolved soon! Thanks again for your kind words and enjoy riding the 650!
Great videos you are producing - please keep it up, great work. I just purchased an INT650 have modified the exhaust (Stinger system) added the boost plug, replaced the rear shocks and now ordered the same handlebars - your video helped my decisions and I thank you :-)
Thank you so much! With the set up you see here the cables have reached their limit. Maybe you can do some rerouting but my guess is that you will need longer ones for proper operation. But I might be wrong, it's the type of mod that you have to try and see.
Thank you! I prefer to drill holes but others prefer to grind off the pins. I think it's a matter of personal preference. In theory the holes weaken the tube but I've never had a problem. Cheers!
Thanks for another informative video. I almost went for the road low based on your earlier video. What didn't you like about the bars being more swept back?
Hi Mark, I' glad that you find the videos useful! There's nothing wrong with the road low, but while I was riding with it on I felt that that I might prefer a more straight handlebar design, just personal taste I suppose, no real problems. That's why I swapped back to the stock and eventually went for the enduro low. Also I thought that it would be good to show a comparison between the three for the people who want to do a swap but haven't decided yet. Thanks again for your support!

Excellent video. I’m thinking the Enduro medium with the same risers. Do you think my cables will be long enough?

Great video! Do you have to drill holes in these bars for them them to work on your interceptor?
