Same .. I remember when Greg Louganis hit his head doing a dive, I think during the Olympics.. I believe he was also hiv positive at the time and it was a big thing about him bleeding from his head wound in the pool. This was the 90s so there were huge stigmas
@@kris.tea.p but thats how you get the virus through blood, so its not about the stigmas. Its a health percaution for anyone Else entering the pool and its good they took it seriously.
@@yasmina1060 I don’t think he bled in the pool. And pretty sure the public wasn’t aware of him being positive. Could be wrong. That was 30 yrs ago, I can’t remember lol .. Back then I think more of the problem with the stigmatization was more a lack of education. People thought if some who was positive even touched you, you would “catch it”.. No one really understood it, other than how bad it was being deprived on the news.. And they might have drained the pool after the accident.. idk.. Those pools are gigantic and although I know how hiv is transmitted, idk how it would be with that many gallons of water and all the chemicals. Olympic pools have several times the amount of chemicals normal pools use.
What amazes me is that she has said a few times that she gets scared, and shows that despite her experience she is still human, and makes me have so much respect for her. Clearly demonstrates how she has more guts that many that she can still be scared, but be brave enough to consistently and elegantly pull it off! Props to you and keep doing what you do!
Omg the slow motion lets me appreciate so much more just exactly how talented you are. It all goes by so fast in real time i never get to see just how accurate and precisely placed every single position you do is.
I would love to, so bad. I also wanted to compete in swim, but have almost triple D breasts and you can’t get very far with those as small chests are more beneficial for the sport :/
I m in awe of what the human body can achieve if paired with the right mind. I am equally amazed at your grace, control and mental strength required to do this.
Stopping being so pretty, and furthermore if somebody is in the Olympics or the junior Olympics and coming in last they were still in the Olympics or the junior Olympics and that still makes them one unbelievable amazing human being.
Wow the pressure you are putting your body through, feet, ankles, knees, hips, back, neck. That takes the brunt of hitting the water at speed,i wonder how long you can compete for hopefully injury free. Good luck on your journey and showing us your amazing dives warts and all. Thank you. Xxxxx
well, her knees likely have taken their toll, so she has to wear protective armor around them. I pray she never experiences any injury of any kind throughout her great career!
Even with a perfect leg entry, doesn’t water force itself into your nasal canal and cause extreme pressure inside your skull 💀… can’t imagine the forces you subject yourself! You are a hero ❤️
I mean, if my Life was in danger I probably would but like, this is one thing I can admit to not being able to do at all under my regular state of mind. This looks genuinely frightening to me but seeing you do it so well everytime is so satisfying and amazing!!!
She is inspirational. Is she best. In the moment, yes. I swim in a public heated pool. There are Mom and Totes. Those Moms are heros. Seniors learning to swim. Admire her and advocate for municipal employees who get the chlorine levels right. Hats off for promoting her sport that she loves.
My worst fear is hitting my head on the dive board and landing on a belly flop. And I don't even high dive!
😂

That amazes you? I find it impressive but not amazing or surprising. Everyones a person. Competitive nerves are super common outside of sociopaths
Omg the slow motion lets me appreciate so much more just exactly how talented you are. It all goes by so fast in real time i never get to see just how accurate and precisely placed every single position you do is.
Fr fr. I think maybe she doesn’t do it as much to not seem like she’s showboating or something but this is seriously art.
She has beautiful form!
A perfect 10🌟 Molly, you're so inspiring💫
I’m at the point where I will root for Molly in competition and I’m not a Canadian. She just rocks. Vibe, talent, grace, determination
And fun, genuine sweet adorableness ☺️ 🤗
Gosh the amount of bravery she has is amazing!!! I could never compete😅❤

This girl is truly amazing must have nerves of steel ❤❤❤😊😊😊🏆🇨🇦
My anxiety when she was close to the diving board
Its common for divers to use them
@@UndersackitchFungalbollock no kidding. they were saying she looked like she was abt to hit her head bc of the angle the camera is at n what not.
She is so graceful
@@Noel_Woodyeah but they still need the diving board to make the jump
@@curse4490 they were saying that it's common for divers to use diving boards...i didn't say anything abt them not using them.
Incredibly tough lass! Kudos Molly❤
She's so amazing, but her smile melts hearts!
THAT DIVE WAS PERFECTION, Those flips I always worry about your head hitting the diving board!!!
My two year old is obsessed with your videos. She repeats over and over “more jump! More jump” and just smiles.
As a lifeguard this scares the shit out of me
Why would a lifeguard need to enter the water this way ?
@@MrBeard17 they never said that
Me too! But WOW!
Jesus loves you so much❤
So beautiful, artistic, and brave. I love your TH-cam videos. Thank you! ❤

Idk why this song fits so perfectly with what she does 😂❤
"I wanna fly."
"Tell what it takes"
"I'll go so high my feet won't touch the ground "
That’s actually so graceful wowww
Yeah, love this perspective. Thx for sharing!🎉

Same, like absolutely not, I’m not even scared of heights, but jumping!? I don’t trust myself enough for that
don't realize how beautiful the diving sport is until you watch in super slow motion.

Wow! The accuracy😍
You nailed that high dive!
I wouldn't even do just a normal jump off the the 10 foot (3 meter) diving board so I can't imagine this.
Congratulazioni per il tuo profondo impegno in questo sport meraviglioso.....sei un fenomeno 👍🙏
