absolutely insane how they didnt give him ankle swivels to help the glider posing.
The stuff all over his suit is suppose to be repurposed parts from his old glider.
It’s never shown or explained in the movie, but the concept artist said this about the new suit design

I can totally see them releasing either a standalone figure of goblin in his original look from the first movie, or even throwing that figure in with another glider that’s the same mold as this. Yeah it’s not entirely accurate to Spider-Man 1 but, it’s Hasbro, they’d probably just repaint this glider just because it’s so close to the old one
I feel like they would also get rid of the unmasked Norman head and switch the hands

Normally, I think the exposed neck would bother me. But given the nature of this suit, how it's more cobbled together, I thi k it works.
Definitely looking forward to this one when it comes out. My only minor critique would be I wish it came with 1 set of alternate hands just to allow for additional display options.

The helmet is exactly what Hot Toys and Mafex are lacking. Even the 1/10 statue came with one

I own the figuarts and I will say it isnt too difficult to pose him on the glider. It helps that the SHF has better torso articulation for more organic posing. the biggest issue with the figuarts is that he doesn't actually peg into the glider. he is only held with friction. Still, I think hasbro outclassed tamashii this time around

The purple, gold and silver bits on his armor are from his glider according to the concept artist that designed Green Goblin in No Way Home

I found him today just sitting on the shelf at a Target. Not even hunting for him or anything, 6pm on the Sunday after Black Friday, like a gift from the heavens. My glider doesn't fit on the stand at all but other than that, I'm loving him so far.
Also, mine stands neutral pretty easily, it might be a warping issue or something on yours sad to say.
Same I had to drill the glider hole just a tad bit bigger same with the masked version head version

Just as an advice, you're meant to bend the glider joints in an "M" position with the middle portion set down and the wing sections raised up.

12:39 Interesting. Hasbro's rerelease of the Toy Biz glider has the middle piece assembled upside down. On the Toy Biz Spider-Man Series 1 Green Goblin's glider, the rounded peg at the center was on the bottom so it can peg into a stand.

Idk man, I’m actually kinda disappointed with this action figure. The lack of articulation limits his poses with the glider. No boot or ankle rotation, no ab crunch, no butterfly shoulders, no waist rotation, exposed neck, and the pegs for the glider are too close to each other.
Don’t get my wrong, it looks dope, but very little articulation = limited poses. 3 out 5 to me. 🤷🏽♂️

i swear the standing issue is with every single marvel legends figures. All of my figures stand fine but whenever its a marvel legend it just refuses to stand.

BROOOO mine says getting here estimated December 1st Im so hyped. As someone who LOVES the original Tobey Maguire films I was super hyped to get the three pack of all 3 spidermen. I have the whole NWH wave on pre order (well the three spidermen and Matt Murdock as I found Sandman and MJ at walmart) Im so hyped for this guy...and I also got the doc ock on pre order too so I have like almost the whole Maguire cast in figure form

I looked at the Hasbro and the S.H. Figuarts and both companies have sculpted the armor too thick so heads are too big to accomodate the armor. I don't know about S.H. Figuarts but Hasbro should have used the digital sculpt of Garfield and sculpted the armor using that body. The height in question I believe in the armor makes Green Goblin taller. It's never been said as far as I can remember is how much taller. Height specs, Dafoe is 5ft9, Garfield is 5ft10, Maquire is 5ft8 and Holland is 5ft7.
Having a sad Norman face would have been nice, especially for a $50 figure.
The stomach is his beer belly coz in the movie he is shown to be aged and jaded. Kinda like gamer Thor.

The right wrist on my Green Goblin feels really gummy and is weird to move does anybody else have this issue? Really nice figure but that wrist has me a bit worried. Great review btw.

@@GameTime-yj6qv Yeah that’s weird. The wrist moves but it moves in segments and has to kinda lock in place. I heated the wrist and still nothing. I guess we just gotta be careful when posing him around.

My Series 1 Super Poseable Green Goblin with a removable mask has a glider that uses the same mold as the one he showed, except on the rerelease the middle section is flipped. You might be thinking of the Series 2 Green Goblin glider that could shoot pumpkin bombs and had a bulkier bottom with parts that could fold into a grip.
This is probably a terrible question (my apologies) but when does Tom Holland wear that final swing suit? I can’t figure out when he wore that in the movie but maybe I just haven’t watched it in awhile

The older goblin isnt even from thwt movie.🤷🤦♂️ i saw someone sand down the sides of the boots so they were more square as well. Seemed like it worked well. I much rather see his neck with the mask, it makes it feel more like....a guy in a mask....which it is lol
