Going through each video slowly. No one in my family is happy how much I relate to your videos 😂 but Alhamdullilah for loving family who understands psychology Jazakallah khair Dr. Mona!! I hope men find these and learn what a high value Muslim man is!!!
I wish society could finally realise the value women in 30s + brings to the table. They had to be independent because of what life had in store . But with so much wisdom, strongness and great morals of such women men would be actually lucky to have that kind of woman by their side.
Salam Sister Mona. JazakAllah khair for your efforts and especially the Islamic perspective. Indeed I share many of your sentiments, particularly now in my mature years. As a side note Khadija RA was likely to have been 28 when she married based on certain evidences. Marriage and children are a blessing and need to be approached with knowledge and wisdom. And be supported by the good people around you. Any trauma in one’s early life does need to be dealt with through the correct channels and prior to marriage. May Allah SWT grant us goodness Amin
Wa alaikom al salaam Safina you’re most welcome :) it wouldn’t have been possible for Khadija (ra) to have been 28 when she married The Prophet (saw), as that would have made him 13 years old. She had 2 children when she married him from a previous husband too.
@@themuslimnarcissistbook Actually the strong opinion is that she was 28 and he (saw) was probably 25. And he (saw) was not a prophet than, just a good man from Arabia and not an example to humanity yet. Good luck with you emotional rhetoric.
What do you mean "not a good example to humanity yet?" Do you not know that he was called Al Sadiq Al Amin even before he became a Prophet and that he was known for his honesty and incredible manners in his society? Why else do you think he was chosen by Allah to be a prophet? Khadija ra accepted to marry him based on his exceptional character. You need to be careful with what you say. The strongest opinion, based on much evidence was that he was 25 and she was 40. She died at 65 so her being married at 28 doesn't correlate with the timings of revelation and the Hijrah to Madinah. @@kingi97
@@themuslimnarcissistbook 1) You should properly quote me, do not insert "good" where I did not use that. 2) We are indeed not obliged to follow him when he was not a messenger (saw), neither are all the actions of the prophet (saw) before he became a messenger an example for us to follow. As a person who says she did Islamic studies you should know this basic Usul al Fiqh rule. Multiple verses and rational reasoning are proof for this, this is not a space to discuss it. We can organize a meeting to clarify this. I know nobody in the academic Islamic circles who disputes this. 3) A good personality and character is not a proof that you should follow someone's actions, this is an emotional and rhetoric argument. In that period Hatim al Ta2i was a Christian and very well known as a generous man among the Arabs, should we pray to Jesus now? 4) On the age of Khadidja (RA) issue, you rely on Waqidi's narration. However narrations from the period before prophethood can be problematic, even more when dates, names and numbers are related, because there was no focus on the prophethood at the time. Ibn Ishaaq mentions 28 years old, some others mention 25 years old or 35 years. About her death, some say 65 and some say 50, which makes her 25. I can give you the sources if you request, and even though the famous among biography and history writers and the popular among commoners is 40, both early and contemporary specialists say that she was not 40 but maybe 28/25 upon analysis. Check for instance the book: ما شاع ولم يثبت في السيرة النبوية In conclusion; whatever age she was, you can not use this as a guideline for people's lives. Why? Both from uncertainty of the material you rely on and from the fact that it was not a religious act due to prophethood not being sent down yet. I advise that you to stop regurgitating modern western norms and ideas in traditional and Islamic clothes with emotional and rhetorical coating.
Jazaakillahu khairan Dr Mona. Should a single woman in their late 30s go looking for a high value man or should she just work on herself and wait for Allah to bless them with one since it is rizq
Please don't go looking for any man, no matter what your age is, your rizq will come to you inshallah :) high value women don't look for or chase men x Cancel Reply
When a woman has children with another man I personally consider her to be his wife especially if its one of my family members...Legally married or not...Its about respect and integrity not attraction...If a woman is over 30 feminine and childless then she is still good to go...as long as she is not being with too many men...which even then most men dont care or even know any better these days.
Amazing insight

I really needed this. Thank you Dr.Mona. Marriage is rizq, not the be all and end all of life that so many have made it to be.
You’re welcome ♥️
JazakAllah Khair for this
