Taking the misses on her very first cruise in January which happens to be with the Horizon....she is an adamant "I have no interest in cruising...doesn't appeal to me...water scares me....can guarantee you I won't enjoy it" type of person so it was a battle convincing her to go on this one. Hopefully her Horizon experience is as amazing as yours was so she becomes addicted. Looking forward to your next vid!
Horizon is definitely a good place to start with her. Plenty of great things. If it doesn't work out, you may have to trade her in :) But seriously, She will love the shows (get there early for good seats) and spend time at the alchemy bar throughout the cruise. We didn't on the Horizon, but did a couple weeks ago on Sunshine. LOVE the vibe there. We also went to Ji Jis on Sunshine. BEST asian food we've ever had and it's only $15/person. You should check it out. Good luck. Looking forward to hearing about it.
Had to give this a thumbs up, and not because you asked!! Highly entertaining and informative! So we just got off the Horizon about 11 days ago (boo!) and just released our day 1 sail away.. I have to say we missed lots of the entertainment you described! I think that's a bad thing about doing the late dining, is it messes with the show times a lot (especially if you love the Alchemy bar at 7pm before dining at 8). Next time we won't miss out! Loved the Horizon though (sadly the SkyRide was down as you mentioned). Great video and we subscribed! We'll have to check out your Horizon series!

Joe Tolley yeah same with us. We did 3 cruises in 2016 and 2017 and back then we didn’t talk to the camera much so it’s almost all B roll! So I made a video anyway with what we had.

I will be going on the Carnival Horizon in a couple of weeks. I was kinda nervous knowing that this will be my FIRST cruise. Looking at different videos of the Carnival Horizon has kinda got me excited and ready.
I do not remember a Leo. Advertised as an 8-night cruise. Days 1-3 at sea. Days 4-6 in Caribbean ports. Days 7-8 hauling butt back north. Arriving in NY early morning of day 9.
@@ElloImNoodle I do remember that last day at sea was SUPER choppy, so easily 20-24 knots. We did go to comedy, but I barely have any memory of it, unfortunately.

We made a 3 week trip and got to see lots of other countries and a few days in Barcelona before coming home. I’m going to subscribe to your channel and I will let you know how it went. Hmmm, I don't eat a lot of seafood, but, The Main Dining Room will always have seafood options as well as the specialty dining. There is also an a la Carte Sushi restaurant as well as the Seafood Shack. I did not try it but it looked really good and I've heard that it's good. Very casual lunch spot.
Thanks for the video. We are going on the Horizon in Oct and are really looking forward to it. We went on the Vista last year and felt the ship was so big that we didn't get to see it all, so I'm hoping that we'll see what we missed on the Horizon.
Yeah, good luck. 8 days was amazing, but we still completely missed the Havana Room, IMAX movie, and the skyride and ropes course... though unfortunately, it looks like sky ride is temp closed for maintenance. Thanks for watching!
