- There was a High Wind Advisory on this day across the western prairies of Nebraska. I have since purchased a dead-cat mic to be used at all times when filming outdoors. I apologize ahead of time for the brutal audio, I spent several hours editing this footage just to make it coherent.
Chimney Rock is a monumental symbol of the Wild West. Thousands of pioneers traversed this path, along the Oregon Trail, seeking a better life in the Pacific Northwest. This geographical wonder was the most sited landmark in pioneer journals throughout the 19th century.
Songs:
Intro: Home on the Range - I learned to play harmonica 2 days prior to recording this, bending is tough.

Granny didn't make it to Salt Lake City.😢
Tell John I died with my face toward *Zion*. It's a reference to being a Mormon pioneer on the way to the promised land (Utah).
