I was wondering what your artwork was like these days. I remember finding your stuff online ages back when all your video thumbnails were your own artwork. (I decently remember the toy story thumbnail of smaller you chucking Woody and current at the time you plucking him from the air.) Your sense of lines and lineweight always kind of fascinated me since I use much heavier lines in my own artwork whilst yours were always light and very detail oriented on where they were placed. BUT YES- It's definitely interesting to see where you started off as an artist and how it evolved with time. I love these kinds of videos/posts in general, so I look forward to more in the future!
Haley! REALLY NICE to see something new from you! My daughter will like watching this since she has been a self-taught artist since SHE was ten (must be something in being a fifth grader that inspires girls, I guess....) and she has found looking back at her old stuff QUITE interesting, comparing how she’s progressed in ten years...This was absolutely FANTASTIC! Thanks SO MUCH for this! BTW, are you still doing the Art Theory In Disneyland this year? Loved your trailer..
Thanks! It is a very interesting exercise. Tell your daughter to keep drawing! Art Theory is definitely coming out later this month. Just putting the finishing touches on it.
Tricksterbelle Fantastic! Looking forward to it! Yeah, my daughter has moved into digital art and has actually made quite a few bucks on Fiverr reproducing video game artwork
This was so much fun. As a I-really-want-to-be-a-fantasy-writer-my-self-but-cant-ever-finish-anything-writer It was really interesting to here about you characters and the lore of the world. I made some myself based on everything from harry potter to the lion, the witch and the wardrobe and of cause Star wars. Today they have also evolved into more of there own thing. (I think)
