Miko, I am a custom builder of Toyota Camry's with 2GR-FKS V6 engines - Both the RR Race ECU tune and the DS Performance tune are Dyno tested and street proven products, love them both but understand you cannot make much more than about 25 HP with after market cold air intakes like "Takeda" that are open to underhood engine heat, next restriction to HP power is small diameter OEM exhaust pipes like your cat back AKA muffler delete, yeah both make your car more noisy but your not making more power... My systems use true dual exhaust right from OEM Cats to 2 1/2 inch diameter 304 stainless steel pipes all "Mandrel" machine bends no kinks to dual X-Pipes (No Resonatores, no secondary non O2 sensor Cats) 2 1/2 inch pipes all the way back to AERO Turbine AT2525 mufflers with 4 inch Quad Tips, next run wider gap plugs with RIPP Supercharger Coil Packs and half a can of BoosTane Race Additive on pump gas takes you to 100 to 102 octane, now your talking 50 HP Bro!
Love to see them fake dyno numbers. All ive seen is issues an no gain, fuel trims everywhere rough idles vvti codes spurattic shifts . I have only seen one person get a few hp from one an they hated the way it drove. Gained a few peak hp to loose it down low. 3.5 has been around for ten years now if they could of pulled 25hp safley by a simple tune dont you think they would of done it since its getting playd out..
Honestly owning the is300 awd, a throttle controller is sufficient enough for city driving. It really wakes the car up and the car itself has enough HP and torque to pass cars! You can get one for $40 online. I hear RR racing more but the setup is quite tedious and waiting time is longer plus there is more of a process (Waiting for ordering, having to download software, sending information back to them then finally downloading the tune) where as d3 is an easy plug and play device into your OBD2 I believe and has a handful of maps to download. Quick and easy and can always go back to stock or any map in the palm of your hands conveniently with the device they provide. No wait time at all. Not sure what the numbers are (hp and torque but alot of factors play in between the 2 tunes like different bolt ons and even different gas grades) but I've heard D3 tune has better number speaking after tune only. Only judging based on what they "claim' and D3 has had their tune out for the 2018+ longer than RR Racing. Personally never had neither but still on the fence.
I was looking at M-Force too. I really wanted the pops and bangs package, but a custom tune to where it wasnt obnoxious. But youre right, id have to get a catless downpipe, catless headers etc. Are you able to make you car pop at around 4000rpms?
12:58 Its the tune And its a NA car RD flash tune is much better tune for every thing And unlike RR racing they just increase the rev limiter without touching the torque converter RD flash does ecu and tcu for fully controlled faster shift
@@KingMatt1 reflash.rd performance Highest whp rcf with 491whp is tuned by them but you need a laptop and vf tuner access i think to get tune by them Only take 1-3 hours
dude your intake sounds so sick which one do you have? Also, I usually just let the car shift for itself cuz i heard it gives you a little bit more power, idk if that’s goofy or bad for the car lol.
Thanks brother! I got a takeda cold air intake. I also heard that letting shit by its self is faster but most the time I just do it myself just be more engaged lol
All you need is a ecu tune that removes the limiter brother. RR racing and M force do it but im sure you can just take it to a tuner to get that removed!
I was thinking this 3IS 300 has a 4 cyl turbocharger. I was wondering if the tune on the boost would give it more HP, then IS350 tune. Then again, it's a 4 banger idk if it'll be able to handle the tune. sadly, you don't get a Lexus for tuning.
@@Glassyz yeah it's kind of weird regular base is300s have the detuned v6 and f sport have 4 turbo. I think they discontinued the 4 banger after 2020, I have a friend with 2019 IS 300 f sport that has the turbo.
RR tuner is a good paper weight lmfao.dude has no clue does he just throwing hp # out like he is gale banks. .15whp is the biggest gain ive seen on a dyno an thats damn good for na v6 Go to any forum or dyno video. I havent seen anyone make gains with a tuner its all over the place with fuel trims rough idles shifting is spurrattic never the same gear change .😢 pipes change flow u feel the power at a different spot is all. Most are looking for hp number when they should be looking @ power curve if it came up on power quicker an held it. More power + and tcu tune for faster shift and control for the torque converter

What’s a good intake for these cars
Good to know brotha thank you for the very detailed response!

Apparently you can get approx. 25 more hp if you use the tune with a rr racing intake and throttlebody. Listed at $295 on their website. Thoughts?
they need to drop that price bruh then I’d easily cop that bad boy
Which is better RR Tune or D3 tune for is300 awd 2019. 🤔 Let me know what yall think and possibly comparisons on gainz.

RDFLASH is much better tuner
Also he can tune the tcu for faster shift and full control of the torque converter

Sometimes itll do one pop when im coming to a stop or randomly.. In 4th gear itll burble lightly when I feather the gas but nothing crazy at all
to get sport+ back someone said u have to unplug the battery for 10 min and plug it back in, but idk tbh

Feel like it’ll work better for is300 +bolt-ons because it’s pretty much a detuned is350
Yea both the 250 and 300 see a way bigger gain in power if you add bolt ons. Its noticeable on the 350 but its minimal
