A Sniper is more accurate, open field no cover, Sniper beats AK every time , especially if they're a sharpshooter. AKs are not accurate at all and even if it were only a football field, the sniper would not have to adjust his scope and be even more deadly. If it's a bigger field well again, that's better for the sniper cause it would take the AK even longer to get to the sniper WITH NO COVER. But all in all, the sniper would be the better shot and the AR would have to run around trying to get EVEN CLOSER to a shooter who is most likely 40/40 or close to it.

I'm an Army vet. Snipers are not only efficient with the rifle but they are elite at handling nearly EVERY weapon. You have four levels. Marksman, Sharpshooter, Expert, Sniper. No one is messing with the sniper with ANY handheld firearm. PERIOD. A sniper can literally track your movements and hit you as you are zig zagging. Mook has been playing too many video games.

I recently just watched the American Sniper .
The target cannot move zig zag unless the sniper perfectly predicts the moving targets next move he won’t hit…
The gunshot . Breath control . Mathematics . And scope view has to be on point or the shot will miss . If a target is moving the sniper has to continually move his gun setup to align with the target . When the sniper’s hiding spot is found out they quickly get up and move out for cover .
But it’s funny trying to imagine someone running away from a sniper’s shot attempts …. The likelihood is not a high percentage
