- Diving with @matlemaitre we went north in search of a shallow shipwreck called the Vedanta in 23m of water. This wreck is a Spritsail barge called the Vedanta, and she was lost on the 13th Feb 1914 just before world war one started. She was part of the stone industry in Guernsey and was owned by Captain Peter Abraham Mahy. She was in the process of shipping stone siftings to Portsmouth from St Sampsons harbour Guernsey. She measured 84.0 x 21.5 x 6.9 ft and sunk after her crew had abandoned ship. Very little of her still exist apart from a huge pile of stone, two anchors and some metal pumps and winches. We still have poor viz fro this time of year hence the stringy bits in the video. Hope you enjoy and I have kept this one in 4K to give you the best quality I can. Stay safe
