    How do street photographers bypass the privacy protection issues ? Each time I put up images featuring people on live I was asked to provide the consent of the subjects. How can you possibly get consent on the run from snaping pictures of strangers ?

    My man, this is exactly the knowledge I was striving for last year! Thank you! This feels like THE black magic knowledge that separates youngsters from grown-up. Finally I can hit more than few agents I know in my area. I can't say how much I appreciate you and your videos, especially this one.

    I feel like I've stumbled upon some dark magic society knowledge! Now that I'm hearing this, I'm pretty sure I've seen people do it, I just didn't know what it was or how they did it.

    I always love the way, you talk about practical things in photography and how the community can have the advantage of things that are there in the market. 👍💚

    This has to be a ChatGPT-generated video idea. I can smell it, Scott. Sniff sniff (vibing off Scott’s previous statement that he uses ChatGPT for video ideas, haha)

      A commercial photographer with oft mentioned interest in street photography making a video combining the two? Doesn’t take Chat GPT to generate that

      @TinHouseStudioUK  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope. Chat gpt actually comes up with high performers by content haha

    I have a number of personal projects on the go, most are going to be more in the documentary style. The other day trying to get the perfect location for documentary landscape shot, I got stuck in 4x4 and I needed to have had a winch, and I would have been unstuck in a very short period of time, as it was. it took me about an hour and numerous attempts before I was able to extricate myself. Still I got the shots I wanted.
    I should add, I will soon be starting my own TH-cam channel as I suspect there is a vacant spot that doesn't cover what I will be covering,

    I see you watched Pauli B's video, showing him shooting for Adidas on commission at that music festival? Joe Greer shoots on commission for a hotel chain I believe - same kind of deal.
    Good for them.

      Its Paulie B who does the walkie talkie thing isnt it. I often have the video playing as a podcast. Really good content. And yes, good for them!

    • @thedarkslide
      @thedarkslide ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TinHouseStudioUK That's right, Paulie's walkie talkie videos are pretty great, he features diverse photographers from NYC - with some really legit people in these. My only pet peeve with that content - or mainstream street photography content is that it creates this false narrative that if you want to be someone in street photography, you need to shoot in New York City, e.g., NYC is too overrepresented in street photography. It's out of balance and it's easy to forget that a lot of great work is happening elsewhere that gets drowned out by a repetitive stream of images of NYC 5th Avenue characters photographed over and over and over again.

    I love your idea. Well, I don't think that would be my path, but I'll think about it. As you talked about this, I instantly got some ideas. At least just to try out.
    Very interesting. Thank you
