    Hey! Just wanted to say I absolutely LOVE how you show the hands that you fold. I’ve never seen anyone else include the hands they fold in their videos and it’s a great way for me to see how some people play pre flop

    22:45 if you are someone out there considering playing poker as a source of income. I would highly suggest you have a full-time job.
    The amount of stress and anxiety you put on yourself trying to use poker as a sole source of income. Is not going to be good on your mental well-being and it will end up affecting your game.
    Another obvious would be only play with what you consider your disposable income. If you’re going to the casino and cashing your whole paycheck to go gamble, that’s also not going to lead to anything good
    When I go play poker, I don’t get mad about losing any amount of money. I get mad if I make stupid choices and put myself in unprofitable situations. In poker, you’re not always gonna win with the best hand, but I would rather have the best hand and get out drawn than call off with the worst hand and get beat.

      For sure definitely best move to have a job at the same time until you have a big enough bankroll and proof that you have a big enough hourly that you can do it full time

    23:18 5 2 of spades ♠️ unless that pot was raised more than 20 you need to start mixing it up with small suited connectors. I win more money on hands like 52 suited 67 suited then I do off of Kings or aces.

    20:50 with the potential blockers you are holding in your hand and the way the player was betting and the range of hands he has been playing. There are a few hands, obviously that have you beat. Pocket 9s or 7s would be my first guess. Ace King maybe. You definitely wanted the board to pair or to hit your queen obviously

    • @gophukyurselvs3621
      @gophukyurselvs3621 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      lol called it pocket 9s. Bro, you had to realize you were beat in that situation. I was in a similar situation this past Saturday. When making my decision, I turned my hand face up so the other player could see what I had that gives you more information. I ended up foldingand they were mad at themselves for over playing their hand and not making any more money.

      @gophukyurselvs3621 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      22:10 how much do you think you have to bet to get him to fold his pocket 9s 😂
      All that would’ve done was make you more committed because he’s definitely not gonna fold his pockets unless you maybe go all in or have an extreme over bet. Which is something you’re never gonna do with Ace Queen.
      The only thing you could have done different in that hand, was fold after the all in

    7:50 note on the bomb pot. You mentioned it’s $30 an hour. That’s only if you choose to play. You don’t have to play. Sometimes I’ll use that time to get up and go have a smoke

    • @Pokerbabbo
      @Pokerbabbo  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yep that is correct. I like to play bomb pots tho, I’m actually the person who made it popular at this casino

    Go through this video and watch yourself. Specifically your hand. Pay attention to how you hold your cards when you have a piece of the board verse when you are going to fold when the action comes around to you. I would definitely try to clean that up.

    Nice call with the aces. Pretty obvious semi-bluff to me too. As soon as I saw it I thought to myself "snap call" but probably would have taken a second to think in person lol. Only real value hand that makes sense is pocket jacks. He could've snapped it off pre and is now targeting trip kings or aces. KJ could also play this way targeting that same range assuming he would get to the flop with it. All his other kings would play less aggressively I think.

    • @Pokerbabbo
      @Pokerbabbo  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think he’s jamming with all of his Ks as well but yeah i think he can have plenty of bluffs as well. I was planning on calling from the beginning but I like to think things through before making decisions in big pots

    Hi babbo, loving the content on the 97AA board I thought 9’s could be in his range to 3 bet and noticed you seem to limp pocket pairs a lot which may turn your hands a little face up when it comes to pocket pairs, I would be reraising them just like any other hand, I’m not sure if the right or wrong but something I do because it gives me another way to win if I don’t hit a set on the flop, take it with a grain of salt. Take care!

    • @Pokerbabbo
      @Pokerbabbo  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think best play is just never to limp. For the most part I’ll just raise or fold. If it’s a super passive game and there’s a lot of limpers ahead I may limp behind. For the most part I almost never limp even with pocket pairs

    I think it's interesting that in the whole session, you saw very little variation in your stack size except for two hands, both of which were huge pots and both featured hero calls. You went 1-for-2 and pretty much broke even. I've been tracking hand-to-hand variance in my own play and it's nice to see someone else have a long session where just one or two hands out of 200 or so determine the final result. (As compared to some streamed poker I could mention in which maybe 30% of the hands feature huge pots and gigantic swings.)

    • @Pokerbabbo
      @Pokerbabbo  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think it goes both ways. A lot of sessions it’s a slow grind that I win and lose small pots and by stack grows little by little or there’s times that it’s just a few big pots

    Hey Joey, it's Robert from the 99/AQ hand. I definitely don't play as tight as I did that night! :-)) I was just card dead and I was sick of calling with a decent hand and then getting 4-bet off my hand. So I figured I would 3-bet with 99 and no one would 4-bet with my tight image. But I had decided I was going with this hand one way or the other so I would have called a 4-bet in position. So when I flopped a set with an Ace I knew at least one of you would have an Ace. When the turn came another Ace I knew I was going for broke. The river 3 was really safe and I figured you had a strong Ace. I knew you would never put me on 99 after I three bet. Was hoping you put me on a missed flush draw or weaker Ace. Anyway, thanks for letting me play that night and I promise to be less tight next time! Love watching your vlogs and shorts.

    • @Pokerbabbo
      @Pokerbabbo  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey man! Thanks for coming. Tight was probably not the best word since the times we’ve played together you have played a decent amount. Maybe for the times we’ve played I haven’t seen that many 3bet making me think that it leaning towards nutted hands. We haven’t played that many hours together so for sure it can just be that the hours we played together you didn’t get many hands to 3bet. But in the moment when making the decisions that’s the information I had.

      @@Pokerbabbo Ya the next day playing 1/3 everyone thought I was an overly aggressive player and I kept getting called light. But I just kept getting hands and they kept hitting. Actually had the same scenario where I flopped a set, turned a full house, and the other person turned trips. See you next time!

    14:25 why are you not continuing to bet the turn? I don’t understand that play. $55 probably less could’ve won that pot for you. If you had 72 you would’ve made a continuation bet right ?
