AJ hand - hindsight always 20/20 but you had a strong flop why not continue the aggression? Checking back twice is free cards for the pair of 5s to see that river. Personally with that strong flop - large bet or jamming would fold out low pocket pairs.
Yeah got a bunch of comments saying that 😂 funny how I get in tunnel vision mode sometimes when I have a strong hand in a bomb pot with so much going on not paying attention to the other 2 cards
Abiti the AJ vs 55 hand. By checking 2 times nothing good can happen. When he doesn't hit his 2 out he doesn't bluff and when he does (8% of the time) you lose the pot. Not sure it's the best option but I would bet 20% pot (on that board and with that spr) on the flop. I know you don't get value, but you don't get bluffed and don't give 8% equity for free.
What strikes me is that if my mental math is correct, you were only slightly ahead on the NLHE. Nearly all your profit came from the PLO bomb pots. My poker stomping grounds don't do PLO bomb pots, so I'm not going to be surprised when I fail to make $2K next time I play NLHE at these stakes.
the AJ hand was an obvious blunder.... 1/3 pot range bet on that flop tells you everything you need for the turn and river, but that is assuming the villain will hold on to shitty lower pocket pairs like his 5s on the turn etc..
I am very surprised that you never thought about denying equity with the AKK flop with someone all in. You gave all small pairs free cards and any J 10, QJ or Q10 free cards to beat you. Get them to fold and deny equity. I liked your read with 1010 but if your read was right and an A or 6 is a straight then you have to consider bluffing there. You easily could of had an A the way played and you win that hand
@@matthewrobert1810 it's a $2K pot ... he's the rake is inconsequential imo. It's his money, he can keep or share as much of it as he pleases. But he tips $1 for a $30 win bro, but drags a $2K pot and tips $3 it doesn't make any sense to me. I'm not saying top $50, but $3 seems nuts to me
Why are you checking the flop when you have the ace high straight? You are losing out on so much value man. You give way too many free cards. If the flush draw came out you would be pissed and it would be your fault. Stop slow playing.
Dude. Youre sleeping while playing. 2nd bomb pot didnt know had boat, AND didnt know had straight... WTAF AND opponent thinks he has boat with his queen lol. 2 guys building 1k pot with no idea whats going on 😅 Stick to holdem 😮
😂😂😂😂 people just love to find the one hand that I may have made a mistake and go crazy about it. I can play 99 hands right and everyone will just rant about the 1 wrong hand.

7:56 you had a straight on the bottom board!
Indeed I did. Got stuck seeing my set
I like the longer session videos
💪💪💪
I like the longer format showing all hands I appreciate it
Thanks for taking time to show your hands as a poker player I appreciate that instead like most who just show there winning hands only
I love your vlogs. They are entertaining and some good strategy's advices also. Well done. Have a good luck at the tables!
Thanks man!! Happy to hear you enjoyed it 💪💪

Exactly. If he bet $100-$150 on flop and rip it all in on turn the other guy folds. Instead he gave them 2 cards for free and lost…
Yeah I would have liked at least one small bet on flop or turn
I think that would be overplaying it. Easy to say when you know what they had. Saying what your so against exactly their hand is irrelevant
Finally big upswing 😊
💪💪💪
keep up the good work Joey
🙏🙏🙏
Appreciate your vlog.
💪💪💪
Bottom board was a straight on the turn, not a set anymore. You had the world on the turn with top set, the made straight and a flush draw too.
Yeah I went in tunnel vision mode with the set 😂
In the PLO hand when you had quad 8’s, how would that have worked if two cards need to play and you had nothing bigger than the 6 on the board?
I’m using one of the 8’s in my hand and another card is the kicker with the 2 8’s on the board
@ Gotcha, I was thinking 4 8’s with the board 6 would be the best 5 cards
Your set wasn’t good on the bottom board… 9/7 was a straight lol. But good hand!!!! Epic

Fantastic video!
💪💪💪
Probably been asked this before, but do you think that you sacrifice some of your edge by being transparent via the vlog?
I really doubt it. It’s not an easy task to build exploits. For sure if I played bigger games vs strong players

Yeah I would have liked a small bet

Yeah almost all of it was from bomb pots. They’re amazing man, people go crazy making them super profitable
AJ, You checked flop and turn? Wow. Just wow
🤷🤷🤷

Man all the hands I have on the vlog and every comment is about the same one 😂 at least it got me some engagement

I did think about it, a little bit during the hand and for a while after 😭
Do you like online or live more?
Live since it’s way softer
How could you scoop when the villain has nines queen’s full and you only had queen’s nine’s full @7:50
It’s PLO so you have to use 2 cards. He just had trip Q’s and I had a full house
Nine seven was a straight on the other board too you were playing it on both
Like to see your buffet videos 😊
😂😂😂 I’ve actually thought about doing that
Bro you dragged in a $2K pot and tipped $3.00 ... nah bro, nah
Bad reg life
Why do viewers pay so much attention to what they tip? Worry about your own dealers
Was about to comment the same thing
The rake is already high enough.

Checking range OOP 🤷 check calling and check raising works pretty well

Funny how easy it is to be a critic from the comfort of your screen
AJ hand… you played scared…. Maybe 2-5 is not your game…
I was playing it scared at times. I went back to 1-2.. I’ve been crushing 1-2. Hopefully I can get past playing scared.
