I did that for my mom. Thinking about visiting there ( Cowes ,Isle of wight ) in the very near future . I've always been wanting to go to Isle of Wight. How come you boarded in the dark yet sat in the lounge when daylight outside? Also Red funnel used to be the best ferry operator to the island but now days that have sadly fallen behind . When the ferries are full using all 3 car decks then there is not enough room in the lounges.

Born and bred on Island, use ferry's a lot, Why pay the extra, the ferry only takes 55 mins waste of money

Agreed. BTW, i dont use the ferry i drive the long way around. Takes me 4hrs but the scenery is amazing.
