What's the lore behind that crazy storm? looked like lightning was the danger but then went extreme when he was going through the truck stop at night.
Quick answer is that it's a huge release of energy that kills any person caught outside during the emission, I think by frying their brain or something similar. Stalker has some pretty interesting lore, and there are a few channels that make good videos covering it

looks like DDG isn't gonna roll with ATF anytime soon. they'd have dealt with those dogs on the double.
Gamma looks really good. It has some neat things in it, though it can be a little overwhelming at first with all the systems they've modded into the game. But it does seem to be one of the most realistic(For lack of a better term) of the bunch when you look at the food, medical, and weapon systems. I'm looking forward to the new Stalker game coming up, but I'm a little wary after seeing the trailer. Cautiously optimistic is what best describes my feelings on it as of now.
