I would love to see a comparison! As someone on a budget and newish to card making, it's hard to know which inks I want to purchase at the moment, so having a comparison would be *really* helpful in deciding which ones would be best to get first!

I would love to see oxide ink comparisons. I can't help it - the kitsch flamingo is a horrible color to me - its a cool pink color that looks like pepto bismol to me. I love spun sugar, victorian velvet, worn lipstick, etc. I would like to know how you store them. I made an excel list for them but am having a hard time storing them, do you store them by color or by alpha name? Thank you, Lee C.

A list of mixable colours would be great. I struggle even though I have sample swatches of most oxides. Some oxides just sing when they are put with the best colour combination.

I love your new cards. I have been making cards for many years, but there are two thing I don’t know how to do and one is blending colors and the other is embossing. I have tried to blend and it always comes out blotchy. If it doesn’t come out perfect I end up pitching it. The same with my embossing. Do you have any suggestions?
Paper quality and a light touch make a big difference. I also find I get better results with blending brushes rather than foam applicators but both can work. I always start light and gradually build the color when blending. Slightly overlapping the colors tends to wield better results as well. With embossing my best tip is to make sure your heat tool is hot BEFORE you bring it to your paper. I usually hold it out to the side for 30 seconds or so before embossing. The longer the heat touches your paper, the more warping.
Candied Apple looks quite orange on the video.
I agree! I was super surprised since I've always found it to be a good "red" when I use it but compared to these colors it definitely has orange undertones!
Would love to see a distress comparison! Also, am I the only one wondering where Tattered Rose is in all the Kitsch Flamingo blends I've been seeing? Everyone stops at spun sugar

Do you ever use distress and not the oxide? Which do you find better?
I probably use Distress more than the Oxides. The regular Distress I find to be a bit more vibrant and Oxides a bit more "chalky" and "lighter".

Nichol, I wanted to tell you my mother got Covid 2 weeks ago. It ruined her kidneys and she passed away this past Thursday. About 2 weeks ago our neighbor lady passed away from Covid. It's horrible here. We also have had the seasonal flu starting. You see and hear the medivac helicopters coming and going several times a day. 😞😢 It's just getting worse here! Too many "non masking is my constitutional right" people. That's not written anywhere in the constitution!! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you I lost my mom.😢
