Please don't stop making green yarn or giving it away, there is alot of us who love green! And those all turned out so gorgeous, I would love to see what you end up making in the green.
I'll keep making it and giving it away in my giveaways. I just meant that for this time, I've been listening and I heard that a lot of people don't seem as fond as green as I am. ::hugs::
Great job on the dying! The yarns came out beautiful! For a long time I was not a fan of green but now I really like it. So many different shades you can't go wrong. Really love how the blue and salmon came out as well. Thank you Cassie for sharing. 🤗
Hi Kassi, I just got my yarn from you. I am making a hat for my grandson with Pride and a hat for my granddaughter with Patience. Thank you sooooo much for caking up the yarn for me. Your dyed yarns are beautiful.
Oh you're so so welcome! I'm glad you like it! If you want to share pictures of your finished object, you can send them to me in email. It's nice to see how the yarn works up for different projects.
Kassie thank you so much for sharing this information! The Stitch please from Premier looks really nice I'm very interested to find out how it dies! Exhausted and Cassie the yarn that dip-dyed the yarn looks amazing and I cannot wait to see the yarn you dip-dyed the purple because so far it looks amazing! I cannot wait to see what you die the the non Superwash Merino? I really love the non Superwash Merino dip-dyed in the green! I think it looks like a blue violet! I think the skins look amazing together! The pink and the violet! I think non Superwash wool in green looks amazing! Kassie I think you do an amazing job dip dying!
The pink and the green would work really well together color wise. I know one was super wash and the other wasn't. That could cause a bit of an issue. I love the blurple color too. I will have to look for your giveaway. I'm a new subscriber. These colors are so fresh and spring.💖💚💜🍀
Hi Kassie! People who dont love green! Who is that? That green yarn you died is beautiful! I know a lot of green loving people...I'm one. My favorite color is black, but I love all colors. You're getting to be an expert at dyeing yarn Kassi!
Is it possible to dye cotton yarn? I'm pretty sure I've heard acrylic yarn doesn't take dye but was wondering about cotton. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and talent with us. I really enjoy your videos
Yes, cotton and other natural fibers like that are abosuletly possible to dye. However, one can't dye them with acid dyes because the acid dyes bind to protein fibers and cotton, linnen, etc ... don't have the proper protein to bind. I'd suggest that if you want to try out dyeing cotton yarn, to try a tie dye kit. They do make special dyes for cotton, too, but a tye dye kit will have everything you need. and shouldn't be hard to find. Hope this helps!
