Weird question, but in this family line, was there an elementary school teacher named Patsy Capps who was a pastor’s wife? She was my third grade teacher at Grady Elementary in Tampa, Florida. She read Bible stories to us and had us sing, “Zippidy Do Da” at the end of every school day. We all loved her dearly. I became an elementary school teacher too and shared my faith as much as I could.
When you apply faith in deterministic prayer, the mountain moves. You must believe, and this is accomplished effectively with a focused, ritualistic approach to Christian prayer. A great example is a Novena -- 9 days, same hour, three distinct prayers. -- Get the "Power Novena of Childlike Confidence"
Fear is not what God has called us to.. we've been commissioned to dominate from the begining of creation. Today I was watching children from a certain part of the world reach out and feed some wild animal- where I come from children would cringe and run for their lives. My point is- our belief system will either make us or break us... may we teach our children to believe well and may we also learn to believe well. David believed well when he stood before Goliath. We have the power, may we know it and may we use it for our good and the greater good of humanity
And God made us and made us fallible; or as clergy say: made us sinful. Many people do not like to use the word "sinful"; they just say that no one is perfect. Good for them not to use a condemnatory word ; as it is anti-human to be anti-human and which the Bible and clergy are. What the Bible and clergy like to see is that we all turn self-hating and self-condemning. Some of us are onto their schemes and dictatorship. Are the alleged God's commands of more use [or even of any use?] than to have made people he chose proper believers and doers, in the first place. Surely, a God who created the universe and is still keeping it going and changing, can also make proper human beings in his sight. Alas, the clergy could not or did not want to invent such a God; for the fact is, no believer is or can ever be a proper human. So, what to do? Settle on a lame duck God or gods; who does not fulfill prayers; does not forgive sins; does not make so-called his people healthy nor wealthy; nor wise, as clergy or gods promise.
This beautiful man was and still is a gift to the Body of Christ and the world! Thank you Lord for this powerful teaching!
