My goodness! That seems to run beautifully! Even on iOS 18, that iPhone 11 is probably a better performer than my iPhone 6S running iOS 15.8.
I'm looking for a phone like this iPhone 11, because my Apple Watch Series 4 cannot be upgraded from its existing Watch OS 8.8 to Watch OS 9 or 10.
Why? Because the watch says my iPhone is too old to update it! I hope YOU'VE never experience something this silly...

You can't imagine how popular iPhone 11 is here. Literally half of the students in classroom is using it. It was cheapest iPhone for last 3 years and it shows.
Fr and in my country every iPhone user has either an 11 or a 12 bc money is REAL tight and everyone else has a Xiaomi redmi series or the Samsung a series phone. Even this 5 year old iPhone 11 dominates my 2023 phone in every single way

For me I updated when it released i had wipe out some space for it but exactly what happened is that after installing i got to face my phone gives warning message fake battery and it stuck on 1 percent charge and it dosnt charge at all and keeps restarting then i had to downgrade ever okay now i was very scared can you tell why it happened?
Did you buy it used? Or from a certified dealer? Sounds like a model that got OEM part swapped out or sold to make some quick cash. Or possibly a bad logic board considering how old it is that might be the honest answer

I find it impressive even that the phone is still able to run the latest iOS version. Coming from a 11 to a 15+ myself, I could still see myself using my old iphone if I didn't need to change it. Not really sure if it's just me but I feel like the multiple OS versions supported over the years have increased substantially with every iphone release along with the fact that the longevity of the OS support is kinda underrated from apple in general.

great video nick, not bad iphone 11, would be cool in a way if the se4 would be the size of the 15 but with lcd panel, anyway 1 questio about the ios 18 .. i dont like the change of the gallery .. u cannot make folders/albums anymore? to separate whatever u want?
i loved the 11 when i had it, i prefered the thicker bezels on it same with the xr imo, especially when using it caseless, it feels great in the hand
It really does! I’ve bought a 14 plus, and the 11 definitely feels better to hold, the newer models are pretty thick and bulky, in comparison. The only difference I notice is size & the A15 chip.
yeah but the looks tho, i agree that my iphone xr felt great on the hand, but the thing is, my iphone 13 pro just looks SOO much better, thinner bezels give more room for multimedia, and the small notch gives a great change bc the previous one was just freaking massive, and the materials too you can tell the stainless steel thats for sure

Already updated on my iPhone 11, work perfectly, still have some bugs but can fix easily by restarting the phone. Only one minus point is the round shape of icon in control center, i prefer the previous looking.

How to download the beta? On iphone 13 atm and dont see any beta developer updates on the Software Update section. Just the recent 17.5.1 ios update and 17 developer beta

Benchmarks especially on beta software always is a bit iffy. I wait till the official release before doing benchmarks to see if there's any real performance differences

The newer phones are getting better with this, hopefully the 16s fix some of these issues

Thanks for the demonstration, I also have an iPhone 11 and I work with the factory firmware 15.6 for 1.5 years and do not know grief🥰 I do not plan to update iOS, as I am absolutely satisfied with all the features performance at a high level, there is not a single hang, or glitch and battery life is super, the battery now has capacity - 89%, so think before you update🧠
Ios 18 is great and I experienced almost no bugs, but I have lag in the notification center and control center and maximum 60hz when it s supposed to have 120
On my SE2, it’s a completely different story. There’s lag everywhere, including typing. It ignores my touches half the time, app opening takes twice as long. The 11 series and SE2 have the same SOC, so it probably comes down to the 3GB of ram.
Finally someone made a video about it my iPhone 11 is glitching because of this update music haptics doesn’t work

What are the odds of this getting iOS 19? Coz I wanna use my 11 pro max for as long as possible and I'm not sure if investing in a new battery and lightning accessories at this point makes sense. Can still use it for 2 more years after major iOS support ends.

Currently typing this on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, I honestly just don’t feel any need to upgrade to a newer model at this point, especially for the price. Everything is still snappy and very smooth, it’s kinda hard to believe it’s 5 years old. Once apple releases a new iPhone with some genuinely groundbreaking and innovating features again then I’ll consider trading in.

i have the iphone 11 and it has its ups and downs still running ios 16.6.1 and scared to upgrade since i have many apps and data and only 64g version :( it would take me ages to go through all the apps data and sort it out and clean out old stuff i wish there was better way to do it or backup and the fact that apple doesnt allow the user to choose if one want to upgrade and test and then downgrade to ios 15 or 16 or 17 just make me furious :// paying so much money when it came out and still stuck like this it just cheating from apple

From what i see, Beta 3 fixes the tinting bug, though I could be wrong and it could just be me.
I am more interested in how much of storage space iOS 18 takes up along with the System data. On my iphone the iOS takes up 10.31 of free storage while the system data takes 8.82 GB. If iOS 18 takes up more than 10 GB of free storage I am not updating my phone.

You have to enroll your device and then you should have the option under software update to install beta 18 and just install it if you want it.

i don’t see why not. my iphone 11 is great everyday and i use my phones heavy. music, bluetooth, video playback, lots of apps, etc.

Feels about as smooth as 17 maybe a little smoother actually, but it is buggy currently. After polished updates later in the beta, it should be good!

I'm watching this on the iPhone 11. I'm still on the iOS 17.5.1. Kinda disappointed that we aren't getting the apple intelligence stuff. Would have liked to at least opt in for the processes to be fully on the cloud instead of the on device.
Kinda what? Bruh it’s a 5 year old phone. This phone is way past it’s prime. While the 11 is still usable enough for basic tasks, the 11 wouldn’t be able to keep up software or hardware wise. Not even the 14PM is gonna receive the AI(and the 14PM is more than capable) and you’re disappointed because of the 11? Like lol.
@@Chris_x_ No, I mean't that, maybe they could have run that apple intelligence stuff in the servers. I understand why they wouldn't do that, tho. 1 it would probably heat up the servers since they had to make those specifically for the privacy aspect, etc. But that's what I was hoping would happen. It's fine tho. I'll live. I still have ChatGPT for the voice assistant, Grammarly & Swift key Keyboard with Copilot where you can go into compose for the writing stuff. As for the Math notes, that one, I'm not sure.

My iPhone 11 has the 128gb option and the iOS/system data take up nearly a third of my entire storage. I can’t get my phone to stay awake for longer than 5 minutes without it crashing and restarting my phone. Any help?
I found this on Reddit. Someone deleted a few dozen GB with up to 100GB of System Data. My System Data was 13 GB and it was reduced to 8GB. Now I do this every other day since I'm obsessed with storage.
1. Close all apps.
2. [Important]: Go to Settings > iMessage > Message History > Select "Permanent". This will prevent messages from being deleted after setting the time.
3. Turn off Wi-Fi, turn off Bluetooth.
4. Turn on Airplane Mode.
5. Set the date to 1 year forward from the real time.
6. Exit the app. Wait 60 seconds. Keep the phone screen from turning off.
7. Check System Data. If it hasn't been reduced, continue with the steps below.
8. Change the date to 3 months forward from the real time (9 months before the time set in step 5).
9. Exit the app. Wait 60 seconds. Keep the phone screen from turning off.
10. Most likely System Data is now down.
11. Change Date and Time settings to Automatic.
12. Turn off Airplane Mode and you're done.
That's all the instruction but I normally skip step 5, 6, 7. If you try this please tell me If It works. But keep in mind that system data reduces meaning your phone performance will decrease a little bit, but I don't think that's too noticable
