I love Camrys, they’re really nice cars when fixed up correctly! I get a lot of compliments on my Camry despise it being a ‘family car’… it’s comfortable!

Nice Camry my guy. I also own a 3012 Camry I brought the same tail lights that you also have I’m just stuck on the installation. Question for the smaller pieces of the taillights how did you wire them ?? Like did you blend them into the taillights on the side ?? Like I see where the reverse lightbulb goes in at, I have, i’m just trying to see how the second part of the lights connect??
It’s kind of complicated to explain but you can TH-cam search 2012 Camry tail lights and a guy does a full installation tutorial for them!
Do those lights work fine? Did you have to get new bulbs or anything to make it work right? I just got them and installed them but the blinker light doesn’t work and the low beams are dim. Please lmk what u did to make it work good!

I have a 2014 se camry had it over 5 years so far best car I've owned I'm 40 years old and owned 5 other cars my first ride was a 77 regal then 87 vw golf then 95 civic then a 03 lancer then a 09 es 350 lex then this car so far on my whip I converted all lights to led inside and out I have a intake exhaust and pedal commander front and rear strut brace bar I'm painting my rims and touching up car this summer and tinting my windows also have a 12 inch sub hooked to stock radio works great and under dash leds

Thanks man, I wrapped it myself. It took me and my friend to do it in two days.. The roll was only $500. It did not come out perfect but I like it much better than the Barcelona red especially in the sunlight!

I've seen your car a couple of times on youtube (in different videos) but, with different set of rims and tires. I asked for the rim and tire information. But, I have to say I REALLY LIKE the set up with the rims/tires on this video. What are size tires and wheels? And did they scuff the wheel well in sharps turns?

I have a 2012 Camry V 6 - recently installed a cold air intake system to give it a little boost - definitely glad I did - however I'm wanting to add just a little more juice to it - any suggestions? I'm looking into a performance chip but reading lots of mixed reviews.. Thanks!
Honestly getting performance on these isn’t really worth it imo.. I’m completely stock (mainly bc Cali laws suck) but you won’t be getting much results for the cost…
If you don’t care I’d say look into getting headers, exhaust setup, e85, intakes, throttle chips… but that’s all really…

Thank you man 🙏🏻 The lowering springs don’t affect the reliability but it does reduce the practicality of it a bit. I personally don’t mind but for others it might be inconvenient to angle your car on steep exits to not scrape.
Personally I don’t mind it, plus my suspension was already pretty weak since the car is 10 years old now.. so decided to lower right away haha
The headliner is super easy to do! There are videos online of removing the headliner and you just glue whatever suede color of preference to your roof.. If you decide to take it to a shop it is quite pricey

Loving the mods my dude! I have a 2013 Camry and I was looking at the same headlights. How is the night time driving on those? I live in WA so it gets dark earlier outside of summer and rains 9 months out of the year.
The lights are definitely really weak in the night time. Not sure if I’d suggest getting them in that case. I live in California and don’t drive in the night time too much
I put 6000k led lights fron seal light both low beam and fogs they are super bright
@@habeebs1992 mine had day time running lights so I just changed them to LEDs and it looks super clean. That curbed my desire for the VLands. I have high/Low and fogs and it’s so bright. I know they hate me haha. None of the new cars have fog lights that take full light bulbs and I think the fog light with LEDs is so effective!!! I feel like I’m getting away with something! 2013 SE V6. If you don’t have drls, I’m sure to add it is a simple process because it’s equipped with it already in the fuse box. Just gotta research it.

@@lyntus7843 easy to install, all plug b play. Seems much harder than it is, but you can do it! The Apple CarPlay radio is on Amazon.
How has the ride quality been with the eibach springs? I have been so conflicted on lowering mine as my area has horrible roads, and I’m worried I’ll damage the car
I honestly do not feel a difference in ride quality from eibach and OEM springs.. Although if you want to lower the car it takes away some of the practicality of it to some extent, for example small dips or steep exits you have to angle the car. Aside from that they are not different from stock suspension, and the car looks 100x better!

The cost of the mods should have gone to getting a 3.5 V6. I held out and finally found a 2014 V6. The performance of a V6 is a BEAST. The stock 18 look great too
The only reason I like the V6 version is because of the upgraded options like the sunroof, heated seats and the dual exhaust.. but personally I’m fine with the 4-cylinder. Gas is too expensive nowadays 😅

For longevity reasons, I'd much rather have the 2.5. It still has plenty of ass for passing cars, but let's be honest: we didn't buy these cars to race. At least I didn't, I got my 2013 se because I want something reliable forever.

car is a beauty man, how did you do the door handles? is it black vinyl wrapping or did you spray paint them?
Got them on eBay, my only complaint is that the double sided tape they use is pretty weak. My door handles were very faded so I just put some gorilla glue and made them permanent but they’re holding up well!

The installation is pretty straight forward if you’ve worked with electrical stuff before.. tbh it’s not too hard.
Lol yeah my car is pretty simple , I don’t like overdoing it with decals, and exhaust stuff bc it seems too much for a Camry 😂
@@thatredcam I appreciate it. It’s just my vision is really bad now from the stupid brain tumor I got. It made me go blacked out blinding my vision has never been the same. LOL. But yes, it does look pretty straightforward. When I did my headlights, it seem like there was a lot more to the headlights than the tail lights. also do you know the difference between the spyder brand compared to whatever brand this is? I got the spyder headlamps and at the time when I got them they were about $700. It was just a lot to install. If it’s only wire harnesses and the rear bumper then yea it should be easy. I just didn’t know about the video I had seen it I had to do all of those steps from one a auto. I didn’t know the rear bumper actually Hass to come off or not.
@@airon6864 i believe spyder headlights seem better quality wise. I just don’t like the style of their headlights. I went with vland headlights but the quality seems cheap..
I have spyder tail lights, the wiring is literally power and ground, you wire it all together and splice into the power and ground wires provided on the car.. there is no need to remove the rear bumper btw. Also there is a TH-cam video that shows a installation process..

Thank you! I actually installed it myself, I just paid $60 for the roll of suede and $20 in 3M Spray Adhesive. Super affordable as a DIY and it’s not too hard to do !

I wish this Generation Camry came with a Manual Transmission, it's the best looking Camry. It wouldn't be hard to find a 6 Speed Manual Transmission from the Scion TC2 and do a Manual conversion on this Generation Camry. they're the same 2AR-FE engine that's found in the RAV4 as well.
Wonder why Toyota hasn’t came out with manual transmission Camry’s lol, that would be pretty cool to see from the dealer. Although manual transmissions are not as practical as automatic for their type of customers..
How much are these goin for. I know the market is crazy. Seen a 2012 with the 4cylinder at an auction for 10k with true unknown miles plus a 224 dmv fee. What could’ve have i asked for, i was thinking 7k or 8k
I’d say they are pretty expensive right now. Before COVID they were listed on OfferUp and Facebook market for 6-9k now they’re upwards of 11-15k so that’s pretty high if you ask me. Unless you get a salvage title with high mileage

Yeah you can 👍🏼 it’s a bit difficult to work with though if you’re not used to working with vinyl..

The screen is an android screen but you can use Apple CarPlay with it if that’s what you wanted to know. Not sure if I understood your question correctly

I’ve gotten pulled over like 3 times bc Cali sucks but not recently.. the last time was probably 3-4 years ago..

I love the headlights, by far the best lights out there for the Camry in my opinion.. I used to have the Spyder Headlights but they weren’t as nice as these!
Although these Headlights do project light very poorly at night so keep that in mind. I’d recommend upgrading to LED bulbs if you decide to get these for sure.

The bulb or the full tail lights? It should be pretty straight forward with 3 bolts each I believe.
How good is the head unit? It's got some pretty bad reviews on Amazon.. I'm interested in the floor mats.. Any links for them?
I actually have nothing bad to say about the unit. Make sure you get a reputable brand. There are a few other ones who have crappy specs.. the one I purchased has good specs and runs amazing.

Door handles are gloss black covers I purchased on eBay!
The side mirrors in this video are wrapped but now I installed some LED sequential turn signals with gloss black mirror caps

@@HK00088 Of course! I’d recommend going to a stereo/alarm shop to get them wired professionally for the best results. Electrical tapping can be quite tricky so it’s best to pay the professionals.

How much did every mod cost plus labour?
In mods maybe like 2000 usd… I did everything myself so I saved myself a ton of labor cost. I was also able to resell my OEM parts online for some cash, wasn’t really much imo.

I have the same car what are the side skirts and the front bumper they look like the duraflex but that brand isnt that good but if they fit then i dont reall care also what are the front grills fot the bumper cause if its the duraflex then i dont think they come with the grills
Not kit on it.. it’s the SE model bumper which looks different than the XLE or LE..

Yes it is a front lip! It is the ‘All-Fit Lip Kit’ I got it their 1.5 inch on website for $60.

My friend no mean to bother you but when you put the headlights on do you run into a problem that the high beans outlet wouldn’t really fit it just kept falling out if you didn’t can you let me know where you got yours from so I can order it please
I used the original high beams that it came with (they’re halogen) I don’t ever use high beams so I just left them

What did you add for the Apple car play on the android screen. I have the same one, just need to know what to add for the Apple care play.
The unit should’ve came with two USB cables.. a 6-pin and a 4-pin cable. Use the 4-pin one and it should allow you to use Apple CarPlay as soon as you plug your phone up !
@@thatredcam yes it did! I have to check which one I put in. And then just plug in regular usb cable to iPhone and done?

The carbon trim pieces are vinyl wrapped, the mirror caps are on eBay and the husky floor mats are on Amazon!

The one I have is ’Roadanvi 10.2 inch’ I think the specs are 64gb RAM and 1080x720p.

I got the steering wheel emblem on Etsy I believe, and the steering wheel does work with the radio.. I have another video on my channel for the radio!

how’d you do the front grille black? like the circle around the fog lights that’s silver and the silver line across the bottom grille next to the fog lights
You can remove those pieces from the grille, I took them off and vinyl wrapped them gloss black

Lol yes they install sunroofs, atleast here in So Cal they do haha.. Just have to make sure they have good reviews! I got quoted $800 for one but I’m holding off til I graduate as a gift to myself 🤣
