there's hardly any left now, seems like AC Smells Good has started going down that rabbit hole now. So we slowly lose them. I don't blame them, this hard work and what do you get for it? Subs are low, views are low, you see people that don't even know what they are doing getting free bottles because they are wearing a revealing top. I appreciate the comment!
@@robes08 Unfortunately so but the real ones will always know. 10k subs from actual humans vs 100k subs from mindless impressionable idiots - I choose quality everytime. Welcome man!
This one actually got me several compliments when I was sampling it but I didn't like it as much myself. For one, I found myself going nose blind to it (as with several Montales and Manceras) and, as you said, it does seem to be pretty rough around the edges compared to TdH. The performance is beyond reproach but that isn't always a good thing, if the scent quality is being sacrificed...
It's a nice fragrance... I got a sample from Lucky Scent... Nice... However if I wanted something in the chocolaty realm though I don't think I would reach for this... I'd grab something like Ore, Pale Fire, or Ummagumma over this one to scratch that itch... Great job as always though Marc... Looking forward to the aforementioned "lists" as I always enjoy watching those... ^_^ (Also... Bring on the Overture Man... ^_^)
12:30 you are way off here, Marc. This once again shows your bias towards certain brands. Hermes fragrances are dirt cheap in production. I know their prices. I have seen enough GCMS results to know what is in TdH for example. They are as cheap as a Paco Rabanne or an YSL release (when in reality, those fragrances are usually way more complex in terms of how many ingredients are in them). You just assume that they are "build with better ingredients" because you prefer them. But in reality all those houses source from the same pool of suppliers. Paco Rabanne is not getting cheaper or worse Bergamot Oil then Hermes or Chanel.
I feel like youre showing you bias towards me, you've already put me into this "once again" showing bias. As a fellow reviewer you should know that is the ultimate insult to someone that takes pride in giving his audience the best of himself. Once again I need to state I don't have any bias vs any brand, a good perfume is exactly that no matter the reputation of the brand, reputation of the nose etc... I've panned brands, lines of a brand, noses in the past and gave them flowers when need be. I panned Morillas several times in my videos, gave him flowers for Chopard releases. I've panned Bleu the Chanel EDT for years and gave flowers to a different concentration. I've panned a brand like Gucci for years and gave flower to Gucci Guilty Absolute. These are one example of each one. You see you're biased against me thinking I'll hate something just because... Now on to your point, quality is not all about the materials utilized even though brands like Chanel have propriety materials that no one else could utilize, but it's mostly about the artist making them. The time to make them, the small nuances shown instead of the just the big picture. Polge, Ellena, Kurkdjian among others are absolute magicians when it comes to these small nuances. Montale... not in the slightest. So TDH, is it about the ISO E Super that makes it quality? Hardly, however it what's Ellena did with the surrounding materials to make it what it is. Instead of calling me out like this especially as fellow reviewer think about my years on social media and doing this and if you are subscriber of mine you should know what I mean by quality. Perhaps it was a mistake on your part, but if you truly feel I'm biased, I'll be the first to tell you to unsubscribe as my value as a reviewer is nil to you as now you think I lie.
I'll review what I want, when I want. You know there's tons of reviewers that review stuff before it even launches, I'll recommend those to you to go watch.
Liked because Marc is one of a few left of reviewers who aren't shills

Something nice and similar to TdH is Daniel Josier - Vetiver.
Awesome review! Looking forward to your take on the new mugler fantasm.
I think red vetiver is cleaner than the Hermes. I kind of like it more actually, it's a happier scent profile. Thank you for the review.
You simply cannot replicate ever the almighty genious of Jean Claude Ellena. Period.
Period.
This is the real review one should listen to
Thd been watered down heavily ...bought a 2024 batch from cosco..6 hours tops if that!

Cheers Marc, yeah go TDH, no annoying bottle clanger, just a J.C.E twist cap banger 😂💪👊🤛
I picked up Mancera intense cedrat Boise 120ml for $60 here in USA. Can't beat that.
I remember this being very similar to TdH, but perhaps more dense and less sparkly.
That Bvlgari man one has a similar DNA
please review chocolate greedy by montale . thanks for your honest opinion
that one was so hyped up back in the day.
@ did you try it ? How did you find it?
@@mahdiouhajji173 It smells like chocolate.
I got my bottle of it for 53 bucks so was a steal for me. Also the best Montale is oudyssee 🎉 on my 3rd bottle .
Trying it tomorrow. Will see.
Heard from you or other reviewers that this was one of the longest lasting fragrances. 😅
My bad!!! That was Red Aoud...sorry for the mishap! 🫣
def. not me, I just unboxed it.
Any similarity to PDM Perseus? Must be.
A bit, Perseus is much brighter up top. I compare Perseus to the Terre brighter flankers like Eau Tres Fraiche instead of the original Terre.
