Please, be kind to the trees! Its not really necessary to break off branches. Just tug on a needle and it comes off easily. 8 needles for one cup of tea is OK. Also taking off needles here and there instead of all from one branch, will enable the holes to be smaller and they will heal up easily.

🔔 Jean Campbell: it's great you know how to take such good care of a tree, but something has gone wrong in China where they have been packing up cats (and dogs) and boiling them alive. So we need more help than a tree thing. See Harbin volunteers & VShine for more information...when we don't stop travesty, then overly inbred people (or nuts for whatever reason) will do more than bruise a tree!!! From Lil Giant You are right about the Vitamin C in green peppers. I know I am lacking when I start craving green peppers. I did not know they had more than oranges. Thank you!
Another tip: You can increase the Vitamin C of an orange by eating the white underneath the skin. I scrape it off the peelings with my teeth. LOL
Naval oranges have the thickest skin, and the white of the orange has more Vitamin C than the orange. Also; sprouts are a wonderful source of Vitamin C. I make alfalfa sprouts. A half cup of sprouts has ten times more Vitamin C than 6 of the 4 oz. juice glasses of Orange Juice. Good to know in a crisis.

Wild rose hips have a huge amount of vitamin c Pick them when they are red in the fall, after the first frost. You can dry them as they are or scoop out the seeds so you can eat them ...the seeds are nasty but if you make tea once they are dry they stay inside the pod. I don't know if the seeds are poison they are just spikey..and you wouldn't want to swallow them. I have been told that one rosehip contains the same amount of vitamin c as an orange.

I’ve come across a plant called Mullein, it’s beautiful and very helpful from fishing to toilet paper, also made as a tea has kept some from mechanical ventilation. It grows wild, I found the plant near railroad tracks. Check out the benefits. If you or someone you know has issues after the experiment ov... med., check out activated charcoal and diatomaceous earth. Learn how to use is very important though.
