This is one of the most wonderful channels on TH-cam. Informative, truthful and presented in such a warm and endearing manner and with a hint of ancient primal understanding that we all seek but get confused in this digital world we have found ourselves in 🥰
I love white pine needle tea. Loaded with medicinal properties. Pine needles also contain suramin and shikimic acid. pHARMa uses this in their product called Tamiflu. Our HEAVENLY Father gave us medicines! Sirach 38:4. Read it.

I have followed your family on Facebook for quite sometime, but never enjoyed a video until today. I enjoyed how passionate and animated you are about nature. I've found something to binge, but it requires a notebook and pencil. Thank you!
Glad you found our videos! Our Facebook page is especially awesome though ✌️😁
I love your excited energy and you are easy to learn from. Thank you very much 🍃🍃🍃
I love your passion for all things natural.
Thank you 😁
This video is incredible. So many beneficial uses I have been thinking/asking about recently. testosterone, fire starter, fungal......
A good way to identify a (poisonus) Ponderosa pine is to break off a piece of its bark. If it smells like butterscotch, that's a Ponderosa Pine! 😃
Thanks Benjamin, nature can be so interesting ✌❤
@@homeiswhereourheartis Why do yall say its poisionus .? Im rarely wrong on my insticncts from nature . I crave nibbling on the shoots and carboxillating the needles ?? What part is bad of them and why if one would share ?? Thanks
Thank you for the tip!

Very informative, so many healing properties. Thanks😃
wow- we have 100's of them - during the man-made ice storms last year I went around and cleaned off the trees to keep them alive and spoke to them -most of them lived thru the attack -my family watched thru the windows and thought I was losing it - I knew I did the right thing
Thank you! Live in Massachusetts where's there's tons of pine trees. It's super interesting to learn about!
the best video on the subject I've seen until now ❤❤❤
✌️😁
Hi you also have to be mindful not to overharvest as this can kill the Tree... be mindful not to take too much Resin Bark etc the removal of BARK CAN KILL THE TREE as this is for the Tree's survival and We LOVE OUR TREES 🌲💚🌲🌲 We ALWAYS MUST BE MINDFUL OF OUR IMPACT
Such a knowledgeable video 😍 very much looking forward to some pine needle foraging…..
You’re so cheerful and have such a positive outlook. Thank you. 😊And I love your explanations. 🤗
🙂
How do you store extra pine needles? And how long can they be stored?
Nice video, been gathering pine sap from pinion pine and making medicine. Had no idea that Ponderosa Pine is poisonous. Also here in Nevada we have 5 needle pine at very very high elevations. When I lucky to find them on my hikes I look for sap and some fallen branches. Thank you for wealth of information.
Ponderosa pine is only harmful to pregnant women
AMAZING!!!! We have LOTS of pines we planted yrs ago!

I have read many have used this sap for filling a tooth...lasts so much longer and no mercury or floride. Do you know anything about this treatment or ideas? Thank you.

Where I grew up, pines were everywhere and mostly just used for logging. I really didn’t know the potential variety of what they can provide.
Good to see you guys happy and doing what you love the most, I'm back on social media after a 6 months hiatus due to non-travelling
Love your enthusiasm and joy. Awesome 🎄

Great video. I've just subscribed for more of your compassionate videos. Last year i planted a White pine tree ,( pinus strobus ). It was about 12 inches wen i planted it .Amazingly it has grown to well over twice . I can see the new growth of the stem were the pine needles are growing. I think i will let it grow until next year . To start to enjoy it's pine tea . I live in the UK. 🙏

Thanks for all of this valuable information! I have quite a few pines in the yard. I'll definitely have to harvest the pine nuts and make some pesto :)
Love it❤💯👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Has a great pine taste.. Has a "drawing effect" too & can draw out infection or wounds..cld use for a boil or rising..or rash
What a great video! It would be so nice if you could do a follow-up video showing how to actually harvest and use the bark. And if I may give one small critique... Please try not to wave your hands in front of the camera so much. I really distracts from all that wonderful knowledge you are sharing.
Thankyou. Peace to you too and yuletide blessings. 🎄🍄🕯️

good talk, thank you. I would love you to talk more about pines, it sounds like there's a lot more to know. I have one near me which behaves just as you say. I am inspired to walk out tomorrow and take notes on all the others around here and work out which they are.. don't worry, I'll use a couple of books too. Love and light.

Awesome content! Thank you for sharing! :)
Excellent
Crikey Dane.... This video was bloody brilliant!... I live on the south west coast of Devon and have never taken much notice of what grows around me. I am however, going to check out any pine trees near me. I know pine needle tea helps disipate any spike proteins from certain meds and i think I am going to try them. xxx
Pine tea does sound good and healthy!
Excellent video.
Thank you 😁
Love this- thank you!!!! 😃
great video! I learn so much from you. you're great
I absolutely love your channel this is the most informative video I've ever seen I think. I have a neurological problem that has made me lose my sense of smell. Recently just by happenstance I had walked by some frankincense that was burning and I smelled it full strength it was like a shock to me because I haven't been able to smell anything hardly in about 7 years. And it was wonderful to be able to smell something so I have recently bought some and I also bought some MUR and I could also smell that! Seeing a pattern I went out into a local park I live kind of on the edge of wilderness area and I saw some white Pines and knowing they produced a lot of SAP I took a cup and a small no and I figured since they were pruned regularly I would get some SAP and sure enough there was a little bit of SAP here and there on each tree so I gathered up a little bit cooked it down in a beaker made some Nuggets out of it like the frankincense and I could smell it and the smell filled my whole house and it was wonderful. For some reason I can smell anything that comes from a tree that I had not noticed before my doctor is very puzzled by this and wants me to keep researching this. My next tree that I would like to try and find around here would be the hemlock I have heard that it produces a lot of SAP can you verify this?
All the conifers have strong essential oils that smell amazing. Thanks for sharing what your up to that's very interesting must be an exciting time for you ! I'd personally recommend finding a cedar tree it's one of my favourite smells in the world. I have a video all about western red cedar also 😁
@@homeiswhereourheartis most of the Cedars in Michigan grow about 100 miles north of me and there are millions and millions of them you can literally smell them while you're driving but too far for me to drive in my condition unfortunately I'm sure I could find some random downhill near me. But for now I have to concentrate on the state tree lol white pine and I want to find eastern hemlock which is supposed to have a unbelievable beautiful aroma. I am absolutely addicted to frankincense if you never smelt it you can buy a bag of it on Amazon for not too much I would suggest buying the large nodule and if you really want a percent melt it down with some 100% ethanol and slowly reconstituted into a thick syrup and pour it out onto a cookie sheet until it hardens. You get a very pure unadulterated aroma that way
Hemlock is poisonous isn’t it ?
@@mirian593 the hemlock tree is unrelated to the hemlock plant which can grow approximately 5 to 10 feet tall and is extremely poisonous the hemlock tree is a conifer is in a pine family and is totally harmless
@@ClownWhisper great to know, I didn’t know there was a hemlock tree I will search for more about it, seams a very interesting tree. Thank you for your reply 😃🙏
So happy to find this channel TODAY !!!! So happy

Wonderful video. Hej from Sweden where we have plenty pine trees. :)
PLEASE can someone tell me what that beautiful piece of music is at the start of the vid? I've asked others but nobody has responded. I've fallen in love with it and would love to track it down.
