This engine I am absolutely sure is Leyland 0.400 Six Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Diesel Engine introduced by Leyland Motors Ltd United Kingdom when Sir Sir Henry Spurrier -3 was the chairman and Managing Director of Leyland Motors on 6th September 1960 . Initially this Leyland 400 six cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engine had some defects the defect was because of thin liners as a result of which the cylinder or block would get cracked however this defect was rectified later by the technical staffs over there in Leyland plant Lancashire England.However its smaller version Leyland 0.375 or Leyland 0.370 Six Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Diesel Engine had a very good reputation without any complaints🙏🙏
According to Veteran Driver and Truck owner Most Respected Shri Gagan Walia who is now settled in Canada told me that For such an Ashok Leyland Truck of Leyland Six Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Diesel engine shown on this video ,with full load on a steep hilly road can give satisfactory performance and also a good competition to a Tata truck of Mercedes Benz Six Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Diesel Engine with full load on a steep hilly road if driven with fast double clutch and quick gear change when the RPM of engine is high otherwise it will not be able to give satisfactory performance and cannot give a good contest ie mukabla to the Tata truck of Mercedes Benz Six Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Diesel Engine 🙏🙏
