i hope there will be a part 2 honestly because this is one of the better dhar mann videos and i got slightly sad when it just ended on him getting rejected, like the story got me hooked and extremely interested so a redemption arc for this guy (and his relationship with the "dorky girl") would be kinda epic

Its crazy how far you and the cast have come from short 2 to 5 minute videos to crazy short movies like this, it truly makes me proud to be an OG viewer. PLEASE LET THERE BE A PART 2 TO THIS STORY!! MOST OF THESE ACTUALLY DESERVE A SECOND PART! To be honest I'm kinda tired of the "bad" person ALWAYS getting punished and NEVER getting a redemption. I feel like most of the characters need it.
And Chase has the dream to become an actor. I feel like that shouldn't go away completely because of what happened with Julie.
Also, like Chase, I also have the dream of becoming an actor, so this video got to me more than most.

No, this needs a Part 2. I’ve been watching Dhar’s skits for years, and this is the FIRST one that I’ve seen that deserves a second part to tie everything up.
This one was amazing, the acting, the pacing, the chemistry, all of it was great, and that montage *chef’s kiss*. I like that even though Chase is in the wrong, I never felt like we were supposed to root against him, I wanted him to dump that uncaring prick of a girlfriend and get with Julie.
I’ll give this one to you, Dhar. Your modern videos have been more or less hit or miss, but this one, this one is good in my book.
Facts all of this is spot on. Many seemed just going to churn content but this one was polished masterpiece. True shame the firends ruined it he even already defended her every time they said something snide. He started as hey spend time get rehearsal and the lead. Learned so much more really and found a good girl a good friend and a lot about a real relationship not a user.
Mad it has to end that way he DID learn. As he said it may have been for the role but he genuinely did come to love her. His heart ended in the right place. And it wasn't just to keep the role he actually loved her

A part 2 BETTER BE RELEASED! The ending straight up makes me wanna cry from that. Sure, he may have been peer pressured into lying, but then after a while you learn his backstory of his girlfriend and how she treats him, and then while spaending time with her he begins to fall in love with someone who actually cares!

@Ricky Pablo I don't think you understood his character whatsoever. He genuienly became very attracted to her BEFORE her looks, and you could see it in his eyes the entirety of the time he started spending with her. Almost immediately after he met her and started hanging out with her, he began realizing how amazing she was, and was probably regretting the entire time that he wasn't with her. He had no intention of using her to begin with, but was peer pressured into doing so, in which it ended up with him actually caring about her, though it is NOT an easy thing to dig yourself out of a hole your "friends" ended up putting you in. In the end, you could clearly see that he had genuinely cared about her the entirety of the time and finally knew what a non-toxic relationship felt like, even before she found out and he was talking to his friends before seeing her, he wanted to talk to them about her, because he had already fallen in love with her.

This needs a PART 2! It's like at the end it's, TO BE CONTINUED... I know Chase hurt Julie but he didn't even like the idea of doing this to her. His friends pressured him into doing it and he always felt bad about it. Plus, Madison didn't treat him right. I know Julie is mad at him and she has every right to be but he's not really a bad guy, he just made a bad decision.. a decision he hated from the start. There has to be a part 2 where he can get her to forgive him!
We need a part two she being to dramatic maybe the next part could be about forgiveness and how holding a grudge won’t get you anywhere. Forgiveness is never for the other person it’s for you.
The girl can sing
Whenever I see Dhar Mann videos involving relationship stories, I think that it’s going to end with the popular guy using the girl for a test and her getting revenge, but this wasn’t the case at all. Instead we got to see two people who had things in common, who could have fun together, and who could lift each other up. These traits made me realize that this story has a lot of potential and it shouldn’t end here. I would definitely like to see a part 2 of him trying to make it up to her or anything dramatic that will eventually bring them together again, because this relationship is too special to be left in the dust. I saw the way he looked at her in the red dress, no guy looks at a girl like that unless he is really interested in her. Please thumbs up my comment if you agree!

This was a really good episode. I was really emotionally invested. I realize that Chase made a mistake but I honestly feel bad for him because I think he's a good guy at heart and it was pressure from Madi and his friends that led him down a wrong path. Also, if not for the lie, he may never have fallen for her in the first place. I think typically the ends don't justify the means but in this case, if they can be happy together and he never lies again, maybe they do.

What a beautiful skit it gives me high school musical vibes because of the characters' chemistry but I didn't expect that the boy was only using her for the play. Hopefully, this is a lesson to everyone that you shouldn't lie to other people.

Chase clearly has feelings for Julie. He definitely should have told his friends he liked her and should have ended things with Madison BEFORE the play, but yes, he clearly wants and deserves a second chance. Chase has been punished enough here.

Now you got a good point, but we also need to remember this wasn't Chase's idea, he was peer pressured and if you notice he says it is "messed up" at the beginning to do such an act (4:05). Not to mention his girlfriend's rude behavior and not caring about Chase (2:22 - 2:45) (8:35 - 10:20) , and remember the part when Chase confessed how he truly feels about Madi and how she doesn't even care about his allergy (8:50 - 9:00) (11:30 - 12:13). He also ruined the show just to say he was sorry and speak what was in his heart, he asked for her forgiveness and truly regretted his decision (18:58 - 20:04). He also told his friends not to talk about the original plan, and said the line "Bro, I just-" who knew maybe he was going to tell them how he really felt towards Julie (17:30 - 17:41)... Don't forget how he leaned in towards her for [to what seemed like] a kiss (16:46 - 16:56). And how he broke up with his girlfriend for her as he wasn't even happy in his relationship to begin with (20:38 - 20:41). He defend Julie at 9:08 - 9:20 when his own girlfriend backbite her. And at the very start, he said "thank you" when Julie came to him and said he did a great job. He wasn't mean and toxic like his friends (1:47 - 2:04)... And there are many reasons but we need to look at both sides, not just one!

This really need part two
The fact that he admitted what he had done and even broke up with his ungrateful and selfish girlfriend only to be left in the dust is what had me in tears at the end. If it were me, (and I wouldn’t have done what he did) but if I was in the same situation, I would’ve told her the truth as soon as I realized my feelings had changed and although it may have come with its consequences, at least she would know the real story. Therefore, I would never forgive those guys for coming backstage uninvited and laughing about something that wasn’t even the case anymore. Definitely want to see a follow-up of this…

Chase should have gone through with the play with good intentions from the get go. That way no heartbreak happens later on down the road. As Dhar Mann said: What happens in the dark, always comes to light.
Don’t get me wrong. I want them together as well and hope for a follow up. But the ending is the best way for Chase to learn a lifelong lesson about lying.
And I don’t fault his friends for spilling the truth. They had no idea Chase’s intentions changed for the better and that he fell for Julie.
