i used to work at an MNC near lucky plaza and alot of people in the office call him "abang chicken". It's really worth the scolding. Just dont be difficult, know what you want and eat at a reasonable pace. It's really super nice.

I have been eating his mom's fried chicken since my Army days at Ayer Rajah camp. His mom and auntie operates at the canteen and i am a regular patron there. It's still my favourite fried chix rice at Lucky Plaza (& whole of Orchard Road) 😋😋😋

@@ZermattNeo Yes, his mom and auntie operated a corner stall at Ayer Rajah Camp canteen. Sadly, the camp (and canteen) is demolished quite a few years ago 😔 His mom still remembers me, when she was helping out at the Lucky Plaza shop some years back 😊

It is the best chicken rice for me. The first time went there when there's pool/snooker place in front of that stall during my teenage years. Last time was manned by a very nice uncle and auntie, i think maybe is the grumpy abang parents. Now long time didn't eat there because very far and i don't want to get scolded hahaha.

Bro, you should try Spicy Wife store at Amoy Hawker centre. Now it's the best nasi lemak in SG. Their 1 serving of fried chicken is extremely huge.

Recommended try thee Ke Ko mian at bukit panjang, Blk 163A Gangsa Road, is super famous in the west also there is other location is at yishun but better recommended come to Bukit Panjang is just right near Bukit Panjang Station, Operation hours : Monday to Sunday 3am to 2pm, Thursday off day, Better come around 9am as it will be very crowd during lunch time and waiting timg is around 30 min to 1 hour during lunch time,

Tried this morning after watching your video. I got there at about 11 am and there was a short queue of about 6 persons caused by the store being not ready to serve. I ordered, paid and waited 10 minutes for my chicken to be fried. That works because the chicken was really freshly fried. My personal review - chicken was hot and juicy and flavourful. But you get much better ones all over Malaysia. I would have rated the chicken a 8/10 if not for the smell of overused oil in the chicken. Still it was good but not spectacular.The liver was blah but the bergedil was over mashed. It was almost like a deep fried mashed potato patty. The real winner is actually the Sambal. It was balanced and flavourful. I wondered how it would taste with some deep fried ikan bilis. There is another self serve chilli at the counter that was pretty good too. Will i return? Yes if i happen to be in lucky plaza and if there's no queue.
