FYI the number of sales for the item is set by the seller as an option. Can’t remember where but you can turn off this setting, which most shops do. 😊 love your videos
Ya, I normally look at the reviews but it is nice to see this sometimes. Review will show you which order the reviewing on, this will give you a similar indicator
That is very helpful. What if I already have all my supplies and things to make what I am already making, I feel like I am so much money invested in what I am already making I can't spend more in something new. I guess I don't want to throw away all the money invested in what I have but if it's selling slowly maybe just try and sell what I have and not make anymore.. I make mosaic jewelry hangers and resin gifts mostly resin floral badge holders with glitter.I actually enjoy what I make and maybe that's the problem. I feel like they sell well in person at events because they look nicer in person but not as much online so not sure what to do. Should those be only sold in person? I feel like if I already have it made I can easily list it. I have so much stuff made I feel like I can't change directions.
Informative... but we have also come across sellers of handmade items on Etsy and not getting paid and other problems. It would be very useful if you could explore this. There are many youtube videos on this subject, and it is heartbreaking.
Question from Etsy seller to Etsy seller has your account been suspended before ? Mind just has Etsy said it was an error and they opened it back up but it’s still currently not open how long does that usually take any insight?
I’m sorry this is happening, I totally know how frustrating it is. If it was the chat bubble that said that they should open it back up, it could be as long as 1 to 2 weeks. If you actively got an email from the Etsy safety team then it should be within the next 24 hours.
@@thetalkshop it was a email that explained that “ Etsy determined it was a error “ and lifted everything and it should be good to go that was on the 17th they send us our deposit but we still can’t even log into the account can’t reach Etsy support because we can’t log in people are making cases because we can’t reply we emailed the original person 2 times and nothing
@@Somerandomhandle43 I came to America when I was eight, but we were heavily surrounded by Russian only communities, so I really started learning proper English after high school. Even though I lost my accent, and I still have Russian grammar as default when I speak. Meaning the way my words go together, is how it would be proper if I were to speak in Russian.
@@thetalkshopthat's still pretty impressive. I've been learning small bits of Spanish, Spanish is considered by man an easy language to learn and I still struggle. So cuddos to you. Thanks for this video, I started an etsy shop last week and people like you sharing their knowledge gives me hope I can have some sales coming in before very long.
