I love how they hyped Barnabas up, and he kicked Clive's butt nearly every conflict. One of the bosses that really felt like you earned your victory at the end.
Later, Clive wasn't even semi-primed and he still wasn't cut in half despite Barnabas WAS semi-primed. This Clive was tired from fighting Slipnir though so he is very tired.

I never liked about this cutscenes how dirty they make Clive in this Sword fight. He is an experienced fighter who survived on the front for 13 years. But started a fight against Barnabas with a stinger?! And some big swings. It was really out of his character.
It shouldve been 3-5 minutes of Clive and Barnabas trading blows, blocks and close calls. Then it should've been a full fight between Shiva and Barnabas/Odin. Shiva got shafted big time in this game. We'll, both Shiva and Jill. Jill has her moments but Shiva just there as a punching bag and it's bullshit. Regardless of how weak she has become, Shiva is still the queen of ice and as such she should've shown more power against the liquid flame which is opposite element but no, he just shrugged off her ice shards and then kept blasting her. No, she should've had one fight where she was at least matching her enemy and she doesn't even get that.
@@DarthPingu07barnabas has atleast twice the amount of experience of every dominant throughout the entire game. Even in the actual Odin fight he makes quick work of Ifrit I don’t think there’s a single eikon that could actually challenge him

Considering they never left anything randomized, I’m positive the name “Furor” comes form Führer (Ruthless, tyrannical leader) but the English word Furor with similar sound is used to avoid direct connection with the der Führer which is Hitler. Considering what Barnabas did to Bearers - torture and experiment - in Stonehyrr, it s not an exaggeration to think the name of this song is a ref to Hitler.

The percussion after Clive primes hits different when it gets LOUDER all of a sudden and you know something bad is about to happen.
Love the subtle nature of the theme yet we know who's in charge.
Melodic, haunting, and spooky. The inevitability of defeat when ones own powerless self is in the face of a powerful foe.
