I’m praying the janky movements and punches are down to it being in early access as we really do need another good boxing game

If this game scores anything below an 8 from my personal trusted reviewers in October, I'm sticking with FN which i still play every week. I see a lot of comments talking about the problems and stating hopefully they fix it since its in early access. Keep in mind, the game comes out in just a few months. Most likely these issues will remain upon release and MAY be patched in a future update if at all.
You forget this is a indie studio from England making their first AAA game

They need to fix the characters just a little bit. It's great that its International but seriously a black heavyweight from Japan named Yamamoto and a white heavyweight from China named Xie. It could happen but it's not very likely.

@calhountubbs4031 the only reason to say that would be if you programmed this game and your feelings are hurt, quit being lazy. That randomizer sucks imagine a 6'5 Asian heavyweight from Germany named Hans Gruber or a 7' Mexican from the Republic of Congo name Dikembe Mutombo. That doesn't exist in real life the next time that it happens we'll be the first. The game makers need to do just a little bit better.

You got to use body blows or your fighter's career will be short. You're burning energy getting blows blocked and missing. Body blows also lower the energy of the opponent.....it's a science. Show the formula always works
I've seen a few channels playing this game and they all make that mistake gotta do body shots to make the ai block those shots and go for the head mix it up
UFC game more satisfying to punch the enemy.. hope it will release also on PC..

I love this game already! Can't wait to get it. At some points, it looks a bit off. 20:17 Yes that's what I mean also a bit glitch at times. The characters look kind of bad like bug-eyed & some of the animations are off. Hope to see more!

@@John_R_Jackson_III Have you tried emulators recently and do they run good? I got a new computer and was thinking about trying to run Fight Night Champion and RDR1, I'm guessing X360 might run better.
@@Sicarius888 RPCS3 runs great on Windows11 with a 5600x3D cpu/rx 6600 gpu. I think its more cpu related but should run fine with most low/mid tier builds nowadays.
@@Sicarius888xenia is better if you don't have a powerful cpu to handle rpcs3
It a half assed game 80 dollars for this is crazy loading times are terrible on career mode and i dont think theres a replay option either

With a guy this size and the reach you gave him you need to stay on the outside let the other guy come to you and let loose when in range you go to close with the reach and stance you have that's why the shots look weird you should of picked outside stance not a phily shell this use to happen in all the ko kings and fight night games its all angles think about it a long reach equals outside a short reach is inside you can still have a tall guy with a short reach for inside fighting have you ever seen the likes of fury throwing punches on the inside it looks so awkward compared to him on the outside jabbing the head of someone its physics and block or move out of the way more it'll drain the other guys energy quicker the last fight night game was ridiculous for this you could go out block and move for a few rounds without even throwing a punch and the other guys energy would drop very quickly then you could just ko him easily not very real i know but its a game after all so there's always a meta

This is supposed to be next gen? Fight night still looks just as good. Kind of disappointing. But i come from the real deal holyfield boxing game, knockout kings, punch out, fight night generation. Hard to compare to those games.
I've played this game through early access, its an absolute joke! they haven't listened to any of the feedback given by the people who bought early access. Honestly you will never get a better boxing game that FN Champion

i bought this 4/5 months ago and the punching mechanics have got worst not better, controls are lethargic at best. Its not a patch on the old fight night games. guys don't waste your money on this, wait until its out of early access as the developers are literally making zero improvements currently and need to be forced into reinvesting some of the funds they've made from early access sales back into much needed improvements.

massive boxing fan and by lowering the settings on my steam deck and finally able to play. while the stamina needs to be optimized as well as the punches, I have found this to be extremely fun and an instant purchase on multiple systems as I’m starved for a boxing game that uses analog stick

You need to add some combinations to your punching. Spamming the same right jab was hard to watch 😂😬
Just started mate lol - Most combinations at least at the moment will just get blocked and drain stamina

@@thagamezova9310 I was playing fight night yesterday and the difference in speed is ridiculous. This game looks so slow in comparison. They tried to make it ultra realistic but ended up making it too slow. I'll still buy it but probably not full price.

What's the controls like is it hard looks good
The controls are pretty easy to pick up and you wont always have to use all of them

Despite the punches being bad, the getting up mode is the worst, no matttet how u get knocked down, u get up the same way, 0 realism. And there is no 1 punch ko smh.
