I'm so jealous that you get casual days! I get no casual days. My firm is also really strict, we aren't allowed to wear any spandex in our clothing and our shirts all have to have sleeves. I can dress business casual but my firm's definition of business casual is almost business professional. Also my employer doesn't like it when I wear heels. I am allowed to but they make comments to me saying I should wear flats. So I have had to mostly wear flats.

I think it’s also important to point out that a lot of places don’t allow sandals or open toe shoes. It’s crazy how all this information just seems like common sense yet you still have people walking around dressed so inappropriately. I’m a government employee and you’d be surprised at the stuff some people wear to the office.
