If I’m ever having a bad day I’m going to rewatch this video. There’s no way you can be grumpy after watching how excited and happy Abbie is seeing the animals.

This has been my little schnauzer’s FAVORITE episode ever. He was absolutely enthralled the whole time. He usually enjoys watching you guys, but the animal footage this time really engaged his brain. So happy that you got to see Fiona. ❤️ Thanks for sharing.

Love all your videos. This hits home. I went to the Cincinnati Zoo every year growing up in the 70's 80's. You would like the Newport aquarium just across the river in Kentucky also.

Someone told me its all happening at the Zoo, I do believe it, I do believe its true. Adam and Abby: you folks are awesome... I am older and once visited the Cinci zoo; but my experience was as a kid over 50 years ago. This is far from what I saw as a kid. They did well. Glad you can share what you experienced. Thank you to my fav couple.

If you ever get back to Wichita Kansas be sure to see the Sedgwick County Zoo. They have made a lot of improvements. Also see Tanganika Wildlife Zoo in Goddard Kansas just west of Wichita. The famous Jack Hanna highly recommended it when he visited it!

That misting fan would work wonderfully here in Arizona. 🥵 Not right now though, not during high humidity monsoon season. During the hot and dry months of April to late June and mid September to late November they would work beautifully. In fact, we have "swamp coolers" here in addition to your typical air conditioner. The swamp coolers use big Aspen fiber or cardboard pads, a big fan, and a pump that constantly runs water onto the pads to keep them moist. The dry 8% humidity air evaporates that water off of the huge surface area of the pads, and the water molecules steal thermal energy from the air molecules in order to gain their phase change energy to turn from liquid into a gas (water vapor). That cools down the air by about 20°F and adds moisture for more comfort. 😺 They don't work when the air humidity increases above 20-30% though because it doesn't evaporate the water very well. If you run it anyway, the air gets super muggy and gross. The patios here at restaurants and such all have those water misting nozzles because they do the same effect in open air. They do help for sure. I'm sure you guys don't have swamp coolers in Florida because the air is always humid year round. No use there. 😿 Many old houses here have swamp only, and people use portable or window AC units during monsoon. Other old houses (and newer houses too) have a dual plenum with a "cookie sheet" damper/block off. In the dry early and late summer, you put the plate on the AC side and save money using the swamper. It just costs water and a bit of power to run the 1/3hp or 1/2hp motor. Then swap to the AC for the miserable time of middle summer. The swamp cooler also functions as a house fan. You use it with the windows open unlike AC systems. 😺 You can also choose to turn off the water and use the fan alone to blow fresh air through the house when it's 65-72° outside and you don't need any heating or cooling.

_The Wilds_ is north east of there a few hours, and has ten thousand acres. Not a "zoo" as such, it's an animal conservation center.

Yep, I highly recommend. Appropriately named, The Wilds truly feels like you’re in wild Africa, not a zoo.

Being old, I remember when we went there as school children; you could buy a springy clothespin made from a single piece of wood (still got it somewhere.) After the guide showed us stuff, she told us to turn around, and say hello to the old guy in the chair behind us! It was ~1970. Odd that he's buried down here in Hamilton.
