In April 85 v City away a big Leeds crew got ambushed in the train station and absolutely battered until the cops who took an eternity, arrived and stopped it. I wasn't a hooligan, I was only 21 and it was sickening to see how badly beaten some of these Leeds boys were. But as my pal told me they would have been only to happy to be handing it out if the boot was on the other foot! Some of the Leeds boys had already been jumped in and around Moss Side and had many coach windows smashed by lads who hadn't even been @ Maine Road.

Remember being at man utd away and meet the boys from the coach in the bar, about 30 of us. Utd boys clocked us and were there in minutes. 1 call to Jason and the rest of the boys were coming down the street in minutes. Got in the ground and the spare seat next to me was spare, who turns up, Jason and we had a great 90 minutes. 0-0 in the fa cup and got done at the bridge. Great bloke Jason and dont think anything else. Remember him putting tyres on my motor in his place in hanworth as I'm a hanworth boy as well. Up the blues

8 months late it might be snide.
C.P. Company & Stone Island have different ranges now, total rubbish for the numpty’s who want the label on show.
Then really nice expensive pieces, that are very different, I take the stone island badge off my over shirt.
I hide the Googles on my C.P. Company jacket as much as possible, they allow you to that on the hood on decent pieces.
Stone island shadow project labels is the sane colour as the clothing so not as visible.
It’s all down to taste, Jason was never a dresser, if you look a pictures of firms from the 1980’s now there will normally always be 1 lad who would not look out of place at the match now.
I was always more into the clothes than the violence, tho when I got jumped in an attempted mugging, kicked & jumped when I was on the floor the full works, there was not a scratch on my jacket, they are definitely built to last the decent pieces.
My face was mess & needed stitches, they didn’t get my wallet, phone or jacket all things they demanded I handed over.
A bit stupid as 1 on them could of had a knife, they telegraphed me as well with 1 lad always trying to get on my blind side.
Quite proud a refused to fight them as well as they came up with the idea if they drew blood 1st I had to give them my jacket, phone & wallet.
Stone Island designed by Massimo Osti was my gear. BITD , when I was running Acid House gigs late 1980’s my mate business partner had a clothes shop. .Bonneville, CP company, Stone Island , Diesel, Chevignon , Replay etc . I like some of the Shadow range today but the rest is not 4 me at all .
