Watching your Cuba vids with envy....Had five holidays there from around 2007-2013 Cayo Guillermo, Coco, Santa Maria x2 and Varadero. Best beaches, Sea and Times.
Hard to visit now as the main Tour Agent for Cuba and the Cayos went bust.

lol it's hard to not to be amazed by the all beaches in Cuba period! Playa Flamenco , Pilar , Perla Blanca, Sirena , Esmeralda , Las Coloradas to name a few but i can keep going....

First time south last January. Chose Sanctuary Grand Memories Santa Maria. Beautiful people, and absolutely beautiful beach. Cannot wait to get back this January.

Beautiful. Varadero beach is over 20 km long with no seaweed, at least in busy season. Just checked price of Bahamas for one week, $9600.

Memories Paraiso beach is unreal. We stayed at Memories Flamenco Cayo Coco in January of this year and it was ok. The beach walking from Flamenco to Caribe is awesome. We loved that walk which we did every day, Love your vids sir.

Hi Mike, Ive been watching some of your vids from different locations, and Ive noticed that you've been drinking out of single use plastics. As a seasoned traveler to Cuba, buy yourself a refillable and bring it diwn each time. It helps the environment, it helps the hotel, and you'll come to appreciate as an essential, ala sunscreen & bug spray. Just my humble advice to folks like yourself that may not be aware. Cheers.

Hi Mike, we went to Santa Maria about 5 years ago> Melia las Dunas which, as far as I can recall was about on par with most places. Your observations about " how long will this last?" are right on IMHO. In light of that I am hoping to arrange a couple of fall trips. Same place I always go these days.

I am looking forward to December 19 going to memories caribe. Recently sub and watched all of your videos related to Cuba. I am so looking forward to spending time with my wife for our 20th anniversary and being on the diamond beach with the restaurant on it hopefully it will be open. Also been to Dominican and actually felt very unsafe in la romana.

I agree with you. The stretch from Melia Buenavista (absolutely no people) to the new Paradisus is one the best beaches in the world that I have ever seen. That is what keeps me coming back to Cuba. I am going to Paradisus October 23rd. If they had something like this in Dominican Republic or Mexico it would blow more people away. 🏝️💯

Our resort was full the first week of April, we stayed at the iberostar in Santa Maria , great value for the money. We paid 2200 for 2 with upgraded Seats from Ottawa , that’s a great deal for us

My favorite is at guardalavaca. A lot less seaweed on the beach. The section by the almirante I think is better than cayo santa maria. Have you been there?
Keep the fully commercial aspect out of it and it will always stay beautiful and peaceful and cheap.. I've been to Cuba 17 times and booked for November and January already for less than 800 bux both trips 😁.. love it ❤.. But Cuba is not for everyone I always say .. Some people can't live without the 5star rating 😂.. More for me ❤.. Great video 👍

I think Paraiso was closed when i was there but
you can use all Grand Memories facilities!!!
After watching this video, I want to go back. Cayo Santa Maria is a fabulous beach. I've walked the entire beach between Sanctuary at Grand Memories and Melia Buena Vista. From the tower west to the Melia is like with was when the Pirates roamed the sea. I love Cuban beaches.

Hola, sus videos me han traido muchos recuerdos, he estado en esos hoteles y en muchos mas.Le recomendaria que fuese tambien a cadenas como Iberostar y Melia, que tienen muy buenos hoteles y se come de maravilla.En especial le recomendaria el Melia las Dunas, fui 4 veces y voy camino de la quinta vez, y nunca me defraudo.Saludos.

Hi Mike, I totally agree with you. The beaches are stunning in Cuba and the beautiful turquoise ocean is breathtaking! That is what I go to Cuba for and of course the friendly, warm people. I much prefer the older resorts over the newer ones too. They have such charm and character. Cuba is amazing but you have to go with an open mind and be adaptable to their shortages. I always meet such wonderful people, primarily from Canada but also from Italy, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Argentina and England over the last 13 years. My favourite beaches are at the Memories Caribe ,Playa Paraiso and Tryp Hotels In Cayo Coco. Also love the one you showed in Cayo Santa Maria in front of the Royalton that continues forever all the way to the Buenavista. Varadero beach is also stunning in front of the Starfish and Royalton hotels. My least favourite so far is in front of Iberostar Daiquiri in Cayo Guillermo but perfect as you know for kitesurfing! Enjoy watching your videos! Can’t wait for my next trip to Cuba! Hoping to vacation in Cayo Largo!😊❤

Great video again Mike! Where’s Jenny???? My wife and I stayed at the Royalton about a year ago. As you mentioned so many resorts were closed it was almost creepy but the beaches were to die for. You will enjoy the Royalton.

I heard major food shortage in Cuba right now. Resorts run out of things for days and workers filling up water bottles with tap water . Feel bad for Cuban people . I was in Santa Maria 10 years ago and you are right that is one stunning beach !

I dont get why people complain about the food and the fact that they cant always get the drink they want. For the price you cant complain. Been to cayo coco twice last 4 month cause of you. It was’nt perfect but that’s what makes it perfect. I love cuba. Going back soon cant wait.

We enjoy Playa in January. The resort is pretty lively and busy with activities and entertainment.

Yes, the beach was excellent. We had thousands of non-stinging jellyfish for a couple of days and a school of sharks came through... beautiful warm water

Hey Mike we have been to Royalton twice, nice place if it hasn't changed its adults only and all a la carte. Question we land on wednesday at Paradisus Los Cayos, do you think we can walk from that hotel to Royalton on the beach?

Went to Cayo coco with all inclusive, had fun, people were so nice, but can not stop noticing certain things, if they can improve , they can make decent profits. Like when we went to market place, full of useless stuff that we can buy here in Canada at cheaper prices that they were offering in dollar stores. Market place had no working washrooms to use. People were so uncomfortable that they took next bus back to resort and no body bought anything. I felt bad, because these little things can be easily fixed. Why market place do not carry decent stuff that people can only get in Cuba. Then when we were leaving Cuba, airport was so chaotic. Airport authorities took so long to process people that there was no time left to go to duty free. Again due to heat and non functioning washrooms, uncomfortable people had no desire left to go to duty free. Only reason I am taking time to write this is, because I feel Cubans are good people, if they can organize them selves little better, then with best beaches, best fruits and vegetables in the world , they can progress economically.

I know where to go and where to stay. The mountains and rivers of Baracoa are a marvel ( Cuchillas Del Toa and Alejandro de Humboldt parks ) huge beautiful country side !
