- No Justice is from the album "Mood Swings" released June 11, 1993.
In 1991, Harem Scarem released their self titled debut album, which charted at No. 68 on the Canadian album chart. The band scored a hit single from the album; "Slowly Slipping Away", which charted at No. 25 on the Canadian single chart. They also managed to chart two minor hits; "Honestly" and "Love Reaction" The following year, Harem Scarem was able to gain some notoriety when 8 songs from their debut album Harem Scarem were predominantly featured in the Canadian teen series Degrassi Junior High, and Degrassi High's farewell TV movie, School's Out.
Harem Scarem released their second album in 1993, Mood Swings, which had a harder sound to it than their previous album. It also featured the recorded vocal debut of drummer Smith on the song "Sentimental Blvd." A fan favorite, Mood Swings charted at No. 83 on the Canadian charts. The album's lead off single was "No Justice", which managed to chart at No. 59 in Canada, while the other two singles failed to chart. Mood Swings caused the band to gain popularity in Japan, and the band's previous album was quickly issued in that country the following year. This was followed by a live and acoustic EP, appropriately titled Live & Acoustic.
Lyrics:
No Justice
(Hess / Lesperance)
Freedom burns forever in the holy sun
It leads us into a battle that's never won
Whatever I take
Or whatever I give
Doesn't seem to matter anymore
When there's no
Justice in the world
No justice in the world
You feed the fire when you say it's all over
No justice in the world
When you realize that the devil's got your number
It's your decision
To walk the mile when the road is long
It's like religion wasting our lives on a
Worthless cause
Whatever I take
Or whatever I give
Doesn't seem to matter anymore
When there's no
When will freedom shine for us
No, it ain't over, no

Those that were in their youth in the eighties will connect with Harry and Pete! These guys were original in sound, talent and Canadian boiz! Rock on dudes!
Cheers, and a shout out to Trish!
You can hear the George Lynch influences---love this guitar work!
Saw these guys open for Foreigner in nineties , great show .
Amazing song and an amazing band. A shame they did not become more recognized. I happened to discover this band by mere luck, as I listened to a great band called FIRST SIGNAL, fronted by this same guy who sings here, and with further enquiry about this act, I found out about these guys. I will try to get their cds, they`re just great!
Great song; awesome guitar solo!
Truly awesome song!
Epic!!
Pete rocked in high school and this intro and lead proved that he is the real thing song rocks shout out to all that partied at Kevin with Joey the budgy that couldn’t take the inivation off a great band all the best teeth lol
Released at the very end of the "hair metal" era. They were top tier when they were often considered a "clone" band of the likes of Bon Jovi or Def Leppard. Alas, they are still around despite getting pushed aside when the video era ended.
batmanjwo I remember when this came out...The grunge bandwagon was in full swing...I remember thinking..damn, great songs, chops and so on...bad timing...These guys were like Telsa (bluesy), Cinderella (even blusier) and Steelheart (great songs and a fantastic singer...just a little better than a lot of the crap that killed the scene...
Kind of like Trixter but way more talented.
Great song, great Canadian band

Justiça no mundo
Justiça no mundo
Quando é que a liberdade vai brilhar para nós
Não, não é mais, não
AMAZING voice very EXCELLENT performance on stage of the band HAReM SCAREM!
yes, we live in busy times, but always rememeber our youth!
I loved these guys from day one and always will.. just like Valdy, GUESS WHO, RUSH ,TRIUMPH, LOVERBOY ,LIGHTHOUSE,CROWBAR3DOG NIGHT,STAMPEDERS,CHILLIWACK.,HEART,PRISM,APRIL WINE , BTO
Haven't heard anyone with such guitar tone and unique riff solo combo...extra ordinary guitar player...much better than malsteen, via, etc in terms of creativity and style..
I'd say they are a bit similar with John Petrucci of Dream Theater, which is not bad at all (and I don't have any idea who started to play like this first) :) The bands themselves are quite different though.
@@mihailgubenko6475 Listen to Extreme, it's one of Pete Lesperance's(guitarist) influences.
I discovered this band because of Herman Lee... he said on a live...

Aí o som da banda já deu uma pesada no som, por causa do grunge que veio arrastando tudo. Houve uma soundgardenização do som
