10 Ways to Promote Your YouTube Videos For MORE Views

- Today I’m going to show you exactly how to promote your TH-cam videos.
Is creating a great video important? Yes. But if you want to get views and subscribers, you need to promote your videos.
And by “promote”, I don’t just mean share the video on Facebook. You gotta be strategic about it.
With that, here are a few of the strategies that you’ll learn about:
The first strategy I’ll show you is finding untapped video topics. In my experience, it’s much easier to promote TH-cam videos on something new vs. a topic that’s been covered a million times.
Next, you’ll learn how to promote your videos in online communities (like Reddit). Without being a pushy jerkface.
I’ll also show you how to use a strategy called “The Sequel Technique” to get your video promoted in TH-cam’s own platform (specifically, the Suggested Video sidebar section).
In the end, you’ll have 10 strategies that you can use to promote your videos for more views and subscribers. I hope you enjoy it.

Lately, I've been implementing your strategy #6. The thing is that TH-cam doesn't seem to update the new info after I press save.
The new descriptions and tags appear on my TH-cam Studio page, but not on the videos when you watch them. Any idea why?

I know that I need to work on my descriptions and my SEO is basic but I'm only getting views from immediate family. I'm learning as I go and working to improve. Thank you for the tips, would a recipe for whipped cream be a sequel to a pie recipe? As to uniformity to brand, I stay with the same format, lettering, music, etc. because it appeals to my grandkids but maybe not to a larger audience, I may need to look at that if I want to grow.
