I started with one RC truck a year and a half ago. I started watching Kevin Talbot a year and a half ago. I now have 8 Rc cars and 11 Rc Trucks, 19 total. Kevin is such a bad influence and a good influence at the same time. 😂😂
Yeah me too. I first started getting back in to tanks, now trucks, truggies and buggies. I have 6 Heng Long tanks, 2 Wltoys 144001's, a 144010 and a ZD Racing DBX 10 Brushless on the way. It's a great addiction 😁😁😁😁
Lets see it r....i.....p Kev!!!! Your my absolute favorite r/c channel and luv your monster beast of a truck!!!!! Rock on 🤘 and have a fantastic weekend!!!!
hi kev! you’ve inspired me to get to the rc hobby. Ive been watching your videos for over 3 years and its funny to me how i watch your vids and i havent own a single hobby rc car
The Traxxas X01 has been my dream rc car since it was first released those many years ago. I’ve seen a few videos on the V2 and am planning on getting one myself in the future.
Heck yeah, it would be epic! I would buy it just because it has his name on it. If Traxxas or Arrma collaborated with him to make a Kevin Talbot edition of the XMAX or the Kraton. I would buy both in a heart beat.
Ive found making one setup change at a time helps, plus whenever I have a new car I have a notepad with me to write down the changes Ive made so if I need to make another change I can look at my notes as a reference.
Alex C knows what hes talking about. Hes basically saying to grip up the front end, loosen the rear up, less squat. Maybe toe out to get quicker turn in, and getting the weight of the buggy to shift forwards faster.
Yeah, best listen to Alex. I would've tried a bit of weight on the front, shows you what I know. I reckon the Infraction is better for bashing and the XO-1 for speed runs. The XO-1 just hunkers down at speed and is more stable.
Wow. 100mph out of the box. That is insane!! I come from the day of the Tamiya Frog and it did 18 to 20 mph, maybe less and we thought that was fast!! Oh how far we have come. Great video as always, Kev and thank you for being a beacon of knowledge. You're the reason I got back in to RC after being away for so long. OH and I will be following Monster Jam and watching for you buddy. I am a huge Monster Truck fan too. And again that truck's throttle response is INSANE and yes it does seem to make the LAmbo's seem lazy even though the Lambo's is awesome too!
A way you can turn the grip down for the front (On the tires you first ran) would be to glue the outer sidewall, It takes off the twitchiness, and edginess you get from max grip.
Corner weight scales will help getting the distribution right on the car as will balancing the wheels, you need non hardening clay for the inside of the wheels, you may not think it helps but wheels like grp for example are a mile out on balance
This is making me want to get a 2wd buggy. I've been into M class touring cars for a while but the buggies look like some really nice laid-back fun. And simpler too (setup wise)! The technical precision to get a good setup on a touring car can slowly drive you insane.
I wanted to say it when I watched you read what ppl say about you on the forums. Anyway, I live in the U.S. (Ohio) and really enjoy both your channels. I just found the second about a week ago and main about 2 months but I've watched over a year back already. Great content and attitude oh yeah and the monster truck looks amazing. Keep up the positive attitude and light hearted humor. Keep up your dream catcher face seems too have worked wonders for you.... I might try 😂
What part of Ohio do you live in? I live in Columbus they used to have a race track at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. It was put on by a group called CRCRC. They even used to have some like national events there. They had an awesome indoor dirt track also. And try 20 bucks you would race all day long. And then it just stopped having it really really sucked. I had 2 Wheel Dr. buggy four-wheel-drive buggy and short course two and four wheel. And Stadium trucks. I guess even one night a week they would allow nitro in there. I bought so much racing gear and just had to get rid of all of it. I think there might be one place left in Columbus with indoor racing but I’m not even positive. It was half the size.
The postman probably like. “ I bet this huge package if for Kevin”😂😂. I love you videos keep up the great work. I also think you should review a traxxas bandit VXL it would be a hoot to watch
Cool video Kev, I have the first XO-1 and i'm planning to convert mine to a V2 version soon but first i will be getting an X-Maxx roller to build and a Arrma Vendetta my first Arrma before the end of this year. And me and my dad race rc cars at our local track 405 rc raceways in OKC America we just race them for fun i currently have 9 rc cars and trucks i started with one a year and a half ago.
People racing with the whole purpose of just having fun, admitting people with 4WD in a 2WD race, etc, and still having fun... I know a LOT of people that would find it preposterous.
I'm sure you dont have a lot of time, but if you look in the manual it should tell you everything like what all the hole positions do and what diff oil changes ect..
I have a Sledge and am having depth perception problems when I drive it more than 150 yards from me... Have you ever looked into using a camera and Goggles like drone fliers do, and if yes what would it take
1:39 Bud Light presents: Real men of genius. "Real men of geeeenious" Today we salute you, Mr. Kevin Talbot postal delivery guy! "Mr. Kevin Talbot postal delivery guy!" 😂
So what you want is to get a setup sheet from the car maker you use for your buggy they have them online try using that and or a setup card your your esc and motor
Oh my god, KEV! Please don't frighten me so much! looking at thumbnail I thought you have cut your beard and I was completely frightened... but the vid is all good, thank you for your all of them ;)
Need to cut side rails also move esc forward also klinik battery clamp all way forward it give all weight at front for your team associated buggy I’m unable to share photos as no option to do this
Kevin I have a question I live in Allen Texas about 8 Mi away from the tracks that quarters in McKinney but I'm too lazy to go over there it's easier for me to ask you I have a E-Revo 16 VXL scale why do the back tires turn inwards
What 3d cameras do you have and which ones are waterproof that you would reccomend for under $250 could you do a video on one kev pls if you find one? Even if it isn’t a 3d camera just any camera that’s 4k if you could?
I cant décide i Walt to but a re car to go race with my friends in a sand pit close to my homme i cant decide between a losi lazernut and a losi baja rey 1/10 so i wait your opinion
Kevin I love that you're a side raised a lot I hope you won't think I'm being a jerk by giving you some advice here when you're struggling for front end grip and you find a tire change isn't the answer try a couple of things one you could actually lower your suspension in the front and stiff in it just a little or soften it just a little if its too stiff you won't have enough front and grip if its too soft you won't have enough front end grip so try and resting your friend suspension first make it to little softer and if that makes it worse make it stiffer also take a quarter ounce led wait you know the kind with them sticking tape on the back stick that sucker rate around your front bulkhead dead center its like bloody magic a little bit of weight makes a huge difference I know I know the car shouldn't be too late but this works very well and when you come off of jump you let off the throttle the nose starts to come down and you maintain the throttle the nose stays put which gives you really good control over your nose while jumping with just the throttle yes the extra weight does a huge amount for front end grip. Now take a look at your towing and camber angles since a lot of people think that toe in is the way to go on the front I will tell you it's not so out making your front tires a little wider at the front of the tire than it is at the rear and then lean the tops of the tires in you want about a degree and a half of lean in so and then about a half a degree of toe out to a degree of toe out. Then take a look at the front of the car push it down and push it right and left like you were cornering and watch the alignment of the tires if the inner tire doesn't stay flat adjusted until it does, and the inner Tire should actually hook a lip on the inner edge of the tire it'll help it grab ruts and grip harder a lot of people think that inside Tire should be flat it's actually the outside that should be flat and the inside tires should hook a line I'm sure you'll figure it out mate I hope any of these help technically they all will if you do each one just right so experiment and have fun don't forget to win and tell everybody how awesome I am and your victories speech

It's great to see you enjoying indoor carpet racing 🏁 it's a huge part of my childhood I used to be obsessed with the Schumacher buggies 🥰
Thanks Kevin ! You make my retirement much more fun .

Kev!! You won!?! Atta boy!! Good improvements and good racing!!
I like those tires on my 2wd buggy. Grip is about perfect after the tread wears a little bit!
I'm really digging the race videos and the issues you are having and how you're over coming them.
this channel has actual content on it now!
the quality of your videos is getting nicer
Man, I wish kev would build his very own RC line!
All his knowledge, could easily do a crawler, a basher and speed demon!
Heck yeah, it would be epic! I would buy it just because it has his name on it. If Traxxas or Arrma collaborated with him to make a Kevin Talbot edition of the XMAX or the Kraton. I would buy both in a heart beat.
As someone who really only races in rc and doesn’t do much bashing I do really enjoy the racing videos not too serious not too technical😂
Ive found making one setup change at a time helps, plus whenever I have a new car I have a notepad with me to write down the changes Ive made so if I need to make another change I can look at my notes as a reference.
Love the content kev you should mess around with the 4 x 4 VXL rustler such a great truck

it's a real little Britten dude at the race track, say hello from me,, 🤣
That head on smash was absolutely epic !
Traxxas, c'est bien mais ils arrivent toujours à nous sortir l'argent des poches.🤣

Really enjoying the racing you have been doing and hope you keep it up. Hopefully you can make the racing scene fun again.
Kev! Traxxas released a new deluxe durability kit for the slash, rustler, hoss etc that you have to check out! Cheers mate 👌
hey kev a quick tip for front end grip is to put 4 wheel drive tyres on the front it also increased stability.
This fella is a content machine!!! 👌 love your work Kev
dude that track looks so epic
Racing! My favorite 😍
Good video idea: MAKE AN X MAXX 12s!!!!!
Corner weight scales will help getting the distribution right on the car as will balancing the wheels, you need non hardening clay for the inside of the wheels, you may not think it helps but wheels like grp for example are a mile out on balance
Kev if you want more front end grip add width to the tires up front that should do it

Kev, sand down the outside lugs on the front tires and that will take some of the grip away
