this is the real life scene that we live here in the province. especially in remote area. From everywhere there is a musician entertaining his family , friends and neighbour. Birahi chachahi means Hit it. hit the Chacha. it is in visayan language or dialect in the Philippines. This type of gathering is very authentic in philippines. The party has not started yet in this instance but you can imagine the merriment when the actual celebration has come.

The occasion was a "fiesta" as the sax guy blurted out 'happy fiesta !' at the start of the video. A fiesta is a feast or festival to celebrate a founding of a town or a village or a feast for a Patron Saint . "Town Fiesta" or "village fiesta" are celebrated by Filipinos with so much fun and enjoyment with music, dancing, food and drinks.

I think you should visit the PHILIPPINES. You will mesmerize to see islands in the PHILIPPINES, so exotics can't compare to any country in the planet.
There is one island called 'Batanes ' that has a touch of IRELAND n SCOTLAND in the tropical setting. I SWEAR ! They have 7,641 islands. TH-cam it!

It is a Waray2x language from region 8 compromising the provinces of leyte, samar, biliran and attached islands. Its a barangay or village fiesta. Every fiesta in our province, song and dance are always present while preparing the food or other activities in celebrating a patron saint of the village or town as being a Catholic Christian Filipinos.
Birahi means Hit it(pertaining to the Chacha dance). Hit it with all your free styles of dancing acts along with the rythm of the instruments or any accompaniment. But our trademark dances are the CURACHA/ Kuratsa and TINIKLING, it is a tradition to know and learn these dances when you are a true blooded Waray2x at a young age. Now that the pandemic is almost gone and people are vaccinated, these celebrations will happen again.

The reasons why they dance like this is becoz its fiesta at there hometown..
since there’s not yet allowed to get all together the entire town to celebrate at the Plaza square so they dance and just do it in this way … after prayers and food of course.
This is a small region of the town .
