Super!!! One of the best aviation vids Ive seen! I love choppers!! You have such a cool helicopter show in your country! One day I hope to see it!!! 1:21 for the smoothest, lightest most gentle touchdown! He could have put that thing on eggshells! Some great skill on show in this vid!!
I'm only into fixed wings and don't know much about rotors. How do the copters without a visible tail rotor work with the whole counter rotation concept?
Everyone saying they use the exhaust is retarded. The engine that drives the main rotor also drives a ducted fan inside the tail-boom that creates a high volume of low pressure air that is vented to slits on one side of the boom creating a lift factor using Coanda effect. The leftover air is then passed to the rear where there is a rotating nozzle that they use for extra fine control if needed and then once you hit transitional speeds the vertical stabilizers will create a dynamic bias picking up the majority of the counter rotation loading off of the NOTAR system.
It's the best of the best that fly to these shows and show us their pride and joy. Someone who's mediocre at flying, isn't gonna risk being filmed messing up! I wouldn't want that.
I have to say that the maroon looking Helicopter was to me the most graceful in landing you do sort of miss the music just please don't put that modern rubbish on besides who needs music that was a very nice video of some good looking Helicopters thank you,
Damn, always loved that custom eagle paint schemes on the MD 500/600 series.
They're all lovely machines, especially the Jet Ranger, but they're all great and the men flying them are superbly professional.

Akiajaujaajzjhahajaja

OMG, this should be rated R for rotorcraft!
Great looking birds, only wish I could be as lucky as those pilots.
I love this yellow helicopter what do they have inside

Great videos! Very well done.
Is there a reason why the Leonardo AW109E Power is faint?
Did they turn the volume down or is that red helicopter @ 1:18 very quiet? Is that an EC135 by the way?
i love the aw-139 and the black ec-145

That's what it looks like. Although, we don't keep precise records on every helicopter that comes to our shows.
+HAI - Rotor that's so cool! it's literally my favorite helicopter:D
If you're a helicopter person (or you want to be), don't miss our show in Dallas in 2017. heliexpo.rotor.org/

I love it!!👍🏽❤😜💯🇺🇸
I'm only into fixed wings and don't know much about rotors. How do the copters without a visible tail rotor work with the whole counter rotation concept?
They probably use the engine exhaust as thrust and direct it out the tail boom.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helicopter_rotor#Intermeshing
This is the NOTAR or No TAil Rotor sistem.
Juan Pablo Velásquez
Awesome, thanks
vector ed jet thrust,,,I e the engine exhaust
Everyone saying they use the exhaust is retarded. Notar is unstable or very sensitive??
Pilots say there is a noticeable delay when performing a pedal turn in a NOTAR compared to a regular none-inclosed tail rotor system.
What's at 8:45 after the E155 Dauphin? It looks like and MD, but I don't know the name
Uh 72 Lakota
UH-72(H145)
Nice idea the NOTAR but kamovs twins are unbeteable ;-)
Only thing missing was a Bell 47.
All Helicopters have there own sound...But no one of them match the Huey :-)
@ The Angry General - use exhaust gas for anti-torque... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NOTAR .....
very very nice
What is the helicopter at 2:16?
Sikorsky S-92
