Chuck only acts this way in this scene because he is afraid of loosing blair. their chemistry is too die for! and if you think otherwise your blind. they have gotten eachother through so much these past 4 and a bit years. everyone says dan is so much better for blair but he's already betrayed blair a few times just in season 5 alone, so what makes him any better then chuck? this whole dair thing turns my stomach. chair is endgame. so dair shippers have your fun while it lasts.
when I was just watching the season 4 Chair scenes, I thought Blair was being ridiculous. But after watching all the episodes, I totally get where she was coming from. Chuck deserved a taste of his own medicine. First, parading Eva around and then assuring Blair he had no real feelings for Raina only to act like a few episodes later he was falling for her. Talk about an emotional roller coaster.

i am so upset with the writers b/c they have really messed up the chuck character and the chair relationship in this season. he has been all over the place usually serving whatever purpose the plot needs him to serve. and honestly he has been pretty out of character. he wants blair, she doesnt want him, she wants him and he for whatever reason doesnt want her, then she wants him and he is w/ raina, then she wants him but he is to childish. i blame the writers for messing up my show :(

Meanwhile, Dan hates Chuck, but envies his place in the upper east society. A place Dan has to work very hard for is just given to Chuck.
I think the cool thing about the relationship between them is that there is a lot of "Pot calling the kettle black". One of them screws over the other's new relationship and then vice versa. They keep acting immaturely with games and schemes to sabotage each other. BOTH of them are not ready for a relationship.

I do wish that Blair would’ve put this fight aside for the photo personally. I think chuck was an ass in this episode but Blair really has been family for him and it would’ve symbolised a lot for her to recognise that.

I find it surprising that most Dair fans are people who had problem with Vanessa but are okay with Dan, who is the male version of V but has funny lines.
