In the last series the first image with the homes below the cloister with the light and the color was very warm and engaging to me. The image of the fog with the two branches and shades of green was just stunning in both its depth and simplicity. It’s a great example of seeing something in front of you that most would miss and capturing an amazing image. Really superb...keep these coming as these are images we wouldn’t want to miss!
Loved that you found a way to combine these small videos so that we can enjoy the shots you got. The drone shot did fit so well with the previous video. I really liked all three of the photos for different reasons. I think it is similar to taking the same shot through the seasons. Something different gets just a little more emphasis in each shot! Well done on the video editing and thanks for posting!
Love all three, but the last image, with the smoke rising from the chimneys, takes me back to my holidays in Austria, where everyone threw another log on the fires to stir them up for breakfast. Stunning photos as usual, Mads.🇦🇺
I’m glad you found a way to put these small pieces together. It’s heartbreaking to have to toss away video simply because there isn’t enough! I really liked the last set of images.
I like all the 3 town picture; just each one has a different mood. Also, I like for you to make these Misc videos, as it shows varieties and photos that require a whole video or much explanation.
Thank you, Mads, for this beautiful video, as well as all of your videos and your newsletter. (You even inspired me to take a trip to Iceland last month!) As a beginner in photography, I appreciate all of your insights and I especially appreciate it when you post your camera settings with each photo. It’s very helpful for me as a novice! Thanks again, and I look forward to your future content!
Great info and what wonderful photos. Of the st 3 images I prefer the first one taken at sunset... something about all the homes with the lights on really is wonderful!
Of the last three images I prefer the blue hour image but the other images capture the morning mist much better. In the other two images the morning mist was wonderful but the skies were somewhat disappointing. The last one was the better of the two because to me the sky didn't compete with the mist. The woodland images were stunning. Of the two solitary tree images I liked the one without the foreground grasses. I agree with you about how the foreground provides some context but I like the more minimal quality of just the tree and it's reflection. But I'm splitting hairs. They are all wonderful.
Beautiful photos! Regarding the last ones from southern Germany: I like the one on the right side the most. The fog is thick enough to create the atmosphere and even enough to not pull too much attention. Great shot!
This is a great video as usual, even though it's not the way you usually make them. Please feel free to consolidate images taken at different times/places as you did here. We want to see all your images!
just been protested, because I use Telephoto lens for landscape photography in my channel Then I share the link of this video to reply his comment in my channel 😅 Thanks for the video 😄
We actually say Cloister in English as well, in addition to Monastery 😊. Great video Mads! Those woodland photos at the start were captivating! Those photos of the monastery were magical too, especially the 3rd one.
@@MadsPeterIversen And in French, we have “Cloître” (originally spelled “Cloistre”) which essentially means the same thing… Our language's have the same origin apparently…
Loved that second image in the video, the framing of those trees was beautiful and in terms of the triptych with the churches, the middle one was my favourite as the sky having that bit of colour with the fog in the foreground kept the attention on the centre of the frame in my opinion. In terms of the minimalistic triptych Mads, did you consider moving the image on the right hand side into the middle and moving the middle one to the right as both the outside images would have a diagonal line running to the middle image. Hope you have a great trip to the Antarctic and very much looking forward to seeing your videos from there
how do you make drone video footage into a pic? let's say you went for a vacation and took a stunning drone video - but you also want to have something for your parents to look at in a paper album. I used to take out singular quality video frames and photoshop them to the bone knowing the final picture won't be bigger than 10x15cm anyway (well dji has some stupid aspect ratio when recording but let's forget that). trying to take an actual pic while flying doesn't work for me. in the end the method above seems simpler if you fly slow it's as if you took hundreds of pictures of a single view the drone sees
I actually like the first two the best. Out of all the photographers I follow you and Shainblum are by far have the best eyes for composition.

13:45 I like the one on the left as I love glowing town lights coming through in the evening or early morning.

Brilliant video Mads , think I prefer the middle one of the last three, colour in sky is lovely and you still have the fog too.
Each of the images of the town and cloister are wonderful, but I prefer the middle one with the great sky colors.
As always, great photos. I personally like the one at blue hour.

Great eye! Love your composition of the scene. 1:40
Great photos. I really like forest landscapes, the greenish tint gives them a mysterious look. Good luck and I look forward to more video stories.
really speechless with those last 3 images, amazingly awesome Madz, thanks.
Those trees framing that shot, wow | @6:20 I actually love the colors on the right photo... just a beautiful shot Mads.
Yeah, I could probably push the blue saturation a bit on the left photo ;)
To my taste definitely the first one. Even the fog adds to the image it also obscures the geometry of the houses. But again - up to taste.
Great photos Mads! Personally though I prefer the right hand photo of the lone tree, as it looks mysterious and almost magical.
Love that second foggy photo, very fantastical! 📷😎
Super video.. Of the last three shots I liked the one on the right the best.

I enjoyed the video as usual Mads.
Stunning image's.
Of the last 3 image's i think i prefer the first one.

Good stuff rescued from the cutting room floor. Carry on. 👍🥂

Thanks for the video 😄
Giid video as always. Of the three i preferred the 1st one, which was surprised me but i think the 2nd and 3rd the sky just didnt do it for me.
My favourite was the very last image - the grey one. Perhaps that's because it's what I'm used to in Britain.
3:25 looks like a heart!
I liked them all but prefer the middle one. Another enjoyable video.

Thanks a lot, wow, didn't know that was actually a word in English. Good to know!

Great way to start the day, wonderful work as always.
That's great to hear! :)
Great video as always!
Lovely photos (as usual) ❤. Thank you, especially for the lack of tech stuff.
You are welcome. Happy you enjoyed it :)
Thanks Mads

Thanks a lot, Jim! Yes, that forest photo really turned out great 😃 - I honestly haven't thought of that as I just put them in chronological order ;)
We say cloisters in English too 😊
prefer the first image on the left
All good of course, but I am very drawn to the blue hour photo, I guess because it's not the usual thing I see from you.

Мне больше нравится первая фотография, потом вторая =)
Hell yeah!❤
Dovenskab og lidt jalusi blokerer mig for, at rose dine videoer til skyerne, mere end én gang hvert kvartal. 😏💚
Hahaha, jeg tager alt hvad jeg kan få 😂
I actually liked the blue hour photo the best. Sorry😅
