Yes I did. AIDA is very different from other cruise lines. Firstly its "very" German. Most of the guests are from Germany, also on cruises in Asia and North America. But nevertheless on board languages are German and English. They have 11 ships built between 2007 and 2021. The capicity differs between 2.500 and nearly 7.000. Personally I had a cruise with one of the newest and biggest ships of this cruise company the AIDAnova (2018/6.654 passangers). The food concept is different from most other lines. It's buffet-based, there are no traditional "Main dining rooms". On the AIDAnova are 5 differently themed buffet restaurants (German, Italian, maritime, Asian and family/kids-oriented), during meal times water, coffee, tea, house wine and beer, and softdrinks are included. Then there are 5 different themed so-called "A-la-carte-Restaurants" (Venzian, Burger, brewpub, seafood and a French brasserie) here food is included but drinks aren't, and lastly there are six speciality restaurants (gourment restaurant, steakhouse, cooking school, Sushi, Teppanyaki and a theatre dinner show restuarant) which are not included. Additional there is a so-called streed food mile with typical German street food like Currywurst (curry saussage), doner kebap and Germand-styled sandwiches) which also is included. AIDA is very family friendly. AIDAnova has no classical theatre but an arena-style event location in the middle of the ship, there is a TV-studio where passangers can take part in games and trivia like "Who want's to be a millionaire", "Jeopardy", "Dating game" etc. as candidates or audience, but this show will be broadcasted to your TV on the cabin. There is an escape room, a VR game, and the typical water park and spa areas. So if you are interesed there are a ton of videos on YT. I would recommend to give AIDA a try, even it is a German cruise line. In my opinon there's value for money, and no worrys: Germans speak English relativly well. ;)
@jurgenmuck3102 wow! thank you for the thorough review of Aida cruise lines. either one of us really care for buffets and really enjoy the main dining room. I don’t think we will be taking one of their cruises anytime soon. You may have saved us from mistake.

AIDA cruises is the German subsidiary of Costa Cruises (Italy) which in turn is one of the European branches of Carnival Cruises.
Thank you for the answer. Have you taken an Aida cruise? How are they if you have?

Sorry for the rains.
Still is beautiful.
I like the trolls 🧌
We had to make it the best day even in a rain.
We had umbrellas. And up on the mountain was no people because of the rain and we like it
By looking at your video, I can guess that Cris loves pasta and Ben 🍖
Ben like pasta too. 😋
