I love your teaching style! You, Professor Messer, Code with Mosh, Colt Steele, and PowerCert Animations are all next-level instructors. I can picture real-life/business scenarios while you're teaching and it helps with information synthesis and converting concepts/terms to long-term memory 💯
This is excellently delivered, I've struggled with this for the longest time and can now take confidence in knowing I understand (particularly surrounding SaaS) these fairly thoroughly. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! One question, in the Iaas / PaaS service breakdown (at around 9:45), is it IaaS = VMs and VMSS / PaaS = ACI, AKS, Apps Service, Serverless Computing?
Serverless provides a platform to write an application/business function you create and maintain. It just charges you based on work done. SaaS provides the application/business function and maintains it. You pay maybe per user, per machine, time, varies. Hope that helps

This is the best diagram ever to clear my head about IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

Thank you sir for your help, i really appreciate it.
Hello John. For SaaS I believe the end customer is responsible for backing up the data for example an O365 mailbox, Sharepoint site etc?
Depends on the saas service. Some is part of the service, some you may want longer retention.
@@NTFAQGuy Thank you
Nice! Thanks so much
Thank You Sir!
Most welcome!
So interesting
Newbie question sorry John. What is a hypervisor? and what is Runtime?
Hypervisor virtualizes hardware to let you create VMs. A runtime is used when a program executes like .Net or j2e
So how does availabilitea taste like? Jk great vids!
it is hard to differentiate between serverless services and SaaS for some cases. Don't you think?
Serverless provides a platform to write an application/business function you create and maintain. It just charges you based on work done. SaaS provides the application/business function and maintains it. You pay maybe per user, per machine, time, varies. Hope that helps
Can i have the playlist for these Please ?Thanks in advance
