They chased her for awhile. But they gave up and left her alone. I saw the second part awhile ago. Hope this helps. She was flying thru trees with both babies. Never underestimate a mother when it comes to her children

Like humans chimpanzees can be such violent monsters. I'm glad to know that the twins did survive.
I think it's odd that small youtubers have no problem making great documents to watch on a subject, but but companies and corporations can only show you bits and pieces of a document they made.
From the familiar-sounding names beginning with G I immediately knew this is the chimpanzee group/society Jane Goodall disvovered and studied back in the 1970s 😊
A lot of the names also start with F too.

Fiffy and Danny need to stop being sociopaths and back off. Imagine if every animal killed offspring just because they’re not the most popular anymore. That wouldn’t work for long..

What happened to Jane Goodall's video's
Frodo was born in the 1970's amidst the Gombe War. He also ate a human baby.
And yet it’s strange that he turned out to be a better father than most human fathers he may have ate a human baby but he was very attentive to his own kid as shown through this photographic evidence.

@eliteplague I just read about that. It's what brought me here. Pretty crazy stuff there.
I was trying to draw similarities between this society and certain human societies where polygamy is practiced ... Usually in societies where the male can marry and have offspring out of more than one female, the females tend to compete over resources for their children and be very aggressive towards the children of the other women with whom they share the male, not to the point of wanting to kill the other babies of course but hostilities occurs nonetheless.

Ca somebody PLEASE tell me where I can watch or buy the videos surrounding this generation of chimps? I've seen Chimps of Gombe which evolved around the early studies of Jane Goodall. Fifi's family was the main subject of the study, back when she was young.
But I have seen only clips from videos of later generations. I haven't been able to find them, anywhere, as a whole.
The same with videos on a lot of orphan orangutan videos. There are bits and pieces.

Not true at all....fifi and fanny tried very hard to get gremlin to drop her babies so they could probably eat them ( it happens very rarely but it does happen with chimp infants) they gave up cause gremlin protected babies very strongly.......the twins golden and glitter are adults with babies of their own there fine as well as the mother gremlin .....frodo's the father died and fifi went missing with her 9th offspring they are both presumed dead....

People say it came down to being envious. I doubt that, this seems like they were more or less trying to separate the twins so that the load for raising them is shared, seeing as it can be difficult for a mother to raise two at the same time.

I don’t care what anyone says,Frodo should’ve been put down after he killed the woman’s baby & ate some of it.No matter what u put down a animal that attacked & partially ate a human baby.Plus he was a damn bulky abyway,he beat up Jane Goodall a few times,what really bothers me is that they honored this beastvwhen it died.like he was a hero or something.
