My ex friend wanted me to download a tracking app so she could see if I was “actually doing something important” or “just at home ignoring her”. I asked if I could do the same thing and she said no, that’s an invasion of privacy. The friendship didn’t last much longer after that lol. Not as crazy as other people’s experiences but still weird af

Story 4 isn't remotely depicting a psychopath. That's highly reactive and dystegulated rage, not vindictive, callused, and cold apathetic profile you'd expect to see in real psychopaths.

I think the guy talking about his sociopathic friend who totally manipulates him and is more than likely an empath. On a frightening level.😮

My first ever same sex relationship was a nightmare. I was raised to be very homophobic from a bad home before getting adopted and my self image and social skills were in shambles. So I was afraid, confused, but REALLY liked one of my friends.
Well I was perfect food for him. He was a narcissistic psychopath that loved collecting people and favors. I went through literal hell after the honeymoon phase, him using everything he'd learned about me to break me down, eventually tried to force himself on me knowing I was a survivor already, and then turned all our friends against me and had the audacity to tell another friend that caught on before me not to help me because I was his and he was teaching me a lesson.
She ignored him. I healed, put my life mostly together, tried to warn our mutual friends but that backfired spectacularly. I then found out he convinced a very long time friend of mine to say I'd forced myself on HER. And I only found out end of 2022 about that so the prick still managed to weasel something into my life years later when I was in a state opposite side of the country
The charm of these kinds of people can be completely absurd. They're like one way mirrors. Until you've seen the other side you have no idea what goes on behind their masks.

      I'm female, I have a similar story.
I wasn't gay in the slightest. I told her I was straight, was into men, never been to a pride parade (although I heard they were cool from gay coworkers)
She knew this and kept pursuing me even after I said "no".
It was *insane* how much effort she put into doing so.
Gifts, letters, "please date me", yada, yada.
Over and over and over again.
And if I tried to leave the friendship, looking back now it's obvious, she would guilt trip me by saying she will be lonely or that she needed me around because her mom passed and she is sad.
(In the moment I didn't see the manipulation though. I just felt bad for her. It didn't help our mutual friends were all like "aww, you can't leave your best friend" and "don't leave, you guys have such a great friendship."
Anyways, it was like she had a one track mind, all she could think about, talk about, was how we should date, how great we would be as a couple, etc.
Eventually I caved after a year of her pursuit, because well, she was my best friend, she said she loved me, and over time with all the effort she did I ended up developing feelings for her. (Only her though)
So we dated for 6 months and things were great. Picturesque, a dream, yada yada.
Then one day she suddenly flipped/turned 180'.
She wouldn't answer my calls, was always late to our dates or didn't show up, gave me the silent treatment, etc.
Turns out she was just playing with me for fun and already had somebody else lined up.
I tried to warn that person but it didn't work. She already told them I was crazy/can't get over our friendship.
I then tried to just hang around with our friends but they hated me too now for some reason and I didn't know why.
Turns out my ex told them I had a habit of stealing and then she took one of my friend's laptops.
Our mutual friends never trusted me after that and shut me out of our friend group.
      I've since found new friends.
Btw yes, they are relentless and very sneaky. By the time you figure everything out they have already talked behind your back to others so you aren't believed by them.

@@specialtwice4975 It sucks to hear and a narcissists behavior only really becomes apparent once they're done with you. But we won't (hopefully) be duped again. As well-intentioned as warnings are most of their victims will not understand what has happened until too late.
I hope you're feeling and doing better

10:33 that sounds like a genuine cry for help, it was a bare admittance of what he was experiencing and you rejected him. Can you have a little more compassion? There, but for the grace of God, go I. What if it were you, so lost and ill equipped in this world?

Ive been diagnosed with BPD (borderline psychopath disorder) in my teens. Mostly its impulse control that I suffer from. Example, in high school this bully three times my size thought it would be a laugh riot by kicking my back so I beat him with a chair. I got jumped multiple times in my life and i would drive my finger into their eyes, bite chunks off their arms, try to crush their windpipe and soon no one tried to jump me. Recently wae a a video game theme bar and this man was bothering me and my wife because he felt that my wife could do better so I smashed his face into my food and calmly told him to apologize and leave. The man was terrified. My therapist helped me a lot, my impulse control is somewhat manageable, but its difficult. Picturing what you want to do before doing the opposite does help

Borderline Psychopath Disorder isn't an actual medical diagnosis. Bpd usually stands for Borderline personality disorder, did you mean that?

    • @victorcampudoni2682
      @victorcampudoni2682 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@@cierramcdowell4381 The term BPD is used for both borderline personality disorder and psychopathy this is because both belong to the same cluster of personality disorders, but differ greatly from each other. One can be treated with medication, the other since it's a personality trait requires intense multimodal therapy, behavior skills training, and recognizing the important roles in my daily life such as family, school, peers, and the community. Learning to have empathy, sympathize, and understand other people's emotions. It's like you're always on the outside looking in. It can be a bit daunting to relate, reading people's emotions constantly so you know how to react in certain situations.

Tbh it wasn’t the worst, he was aware of his own capabilities being diagnosed and did his best to be responsible from a social stance, reasoning “why would I weave a web of manipulations if it would only take a few bad moves to disgrace me?” He did martial arts to take out anger, worked to make sure he made no extreme manipulations. He lied and played himself up frequently but only in slight, non-meaningful ways. One thing he taught me to do well though was read people, that guy knew exactly how people ticked and what strings to pull, while I only picked up a few of the manipulation tactics, it was the discernment of others I really took to. I want to meet up again with him sometime, even if it is just to catch up.

I dated a guy for a few days back in the 90s who later had a "suicide pact" with his later gf. He killed her, made some superficial cuts on his throat and called 911. He dated my friend too. This was in Iowa. He got more for selling LSD than he did murder.

Not me, but one story that comes to mind was one of my sisters' ex "friends" is/was a psychopath or sociopath (not sure which). Outside of being just an abusive person, she was a pyro, tried to paint her family in a bad light (I've met them, they are awesome), was a total attention seeker, and straight up told my sister she wanted to k*ll her. Closet my family has come to talking to her in years was finding she worked as a waitress at this one restaurant we frequent and her inviting herself to a new years party my family was hosting because he parents and sister were there and she wanted to "reconnect." Fortunately, that was the last time we interacted with her, and that was 2 years ago now. My sister had another "friend" at the same time who was just emotionally abusive. Good news for everyone involved is that trio no longer speaks, and i haven't heard anything bad from that restaurant, nothing but good news, in fact.
