    Noted telescope designer Al Nagler discusses his early efforts at astrophotography and current telescope designs aimed at improving imaging performance of his telescopes. A wonderful few minutes spent with one of the industries icons and a terrific ambassador for the amateur astronomy community. . I am sure you will enjoy the discussion and learn a thing or two.
    I have had an opportunity to image with Televue instruments over the years including the TV85 and TV101. These instruments are capable of taking wonderful astrophotos. The TV101 and TV127 IS systems are particularly noted for their astrophotographic performance. I encourage you to consider Televue for your astrophotography needs, not to mention those unbelievable eyepieces for the visual astronomer!

    A couple years ago I called Televue with a question, and to my surprise and delight, Al answered the phone. What a nice guy.

    Awesome guy! I'm working on getting the double cluster right now, bought a plossl today, it might not stack up to a nagler but for my 80$ trift store 4.5 inch reflector it should be more than good enough!

    @dvamateur I agree.
    As much as I love televue products , eyepieces in general tend to be quite expensive putting them out of reach to many amatuer astronomers.
    Oh how I'd love to replace my current set with that of the ethos type.

    Well, Tele Vue apochromatic telescopes and eye pieces are very expensive. I can't afford them. The bino view must be awesome. Nonetheless, I settled on viewing things with binoculars, such Fujinons, Nikon, and Pentax. Also expensive, but less than Tele Vue gear.
