@@trenchtierstudios554 You should never need to craft ammo on a Rifleman build. You always get more back than you use. And idk what you mean with "hard to find" tbh. Most enemies drop the ammo your gun uses and you will always find your ammo in ammo containers.
@@TheRoibm yes and no. It all depends on what you're fighting. Stronger enemies and Scorchbeasts are damage sponges. Also if you plan on going 50 cal; it is a pain to find until you actually get a few rounds. Prime ammo you pretty much have to craft at least once. Then you can just do the whole cheese way of finding ammo containers.
@@trenchtierstudios554once i got the 50cal receiver, ammo is never a problem Just looting and killing enemy give me tons of ammo usually i got like 50 bullet per 5 bullet spend
the railway rifle shines as loud and proud auto piston driven commando build, riflemen are better with silenced rifles like the lever action or gauss rifle, more sniper or the black powder/ dragon rifles that hit seriously hard but if you go non silenced you lose good bonuses from covert op, mister sandman and follow through and risk being attacked by everyone around..
Hunting rifle/combat shotgun was my first build, pretty fun, once I got the lever rifle from Nuka World made it super fun. I can vouch for server lag making enemies bullet sponges, I counted over 8 hits for over 3000 damage on super mutants. I think a good portion of my commando railway rifle(Quad and AP 2) is just missed by the server. Thankfully railway spikes are cheap to craft.
Honestly I was wondering why my stealth wasn’t stacking with vats, cause I felt like I should be 1 shoting the casual enemies Using anti armor fixer and working on a stealth build myself
FINALLY A RIFLEMAN BUILD! TY so MUCH. Im a level 15 rifleman and love it. But events get kinda Boeing causes everyone is using full auto cho chop and i can almost not get any bullets in
playing lever action rifles is the way i play. its a lot of fun to not have to just vats kill everything. i feel like the game gets a bit boring when you're just auto-aiming at everything with vats. the Western Spirit is solid for all around enemies. then i carry 2 or 3 other lever actions with different legendary effects on each. Sole Survivor is nice when you know you're going up against human enemies. the main issue i run into using the lever actions is that im not all that useful when doing events. its tough to measure up to the heavy gunners who are just shredding the enemies and im popping off 5-7 rounds and then reloading and not coming close to their damage outputs.
Someone asked how to combat weight carry issues. Raise STR at least 5-6 levels. There are perks that REDUCE WEIGHT for specific items. You will want to reduce the weight of CHEMS, AMMO, AND YOUR WEAPON TYPE. Do not worry about armor weight unless you run POWER ARMOR. In which you reduce that. You do NOT need a maxed out weight reduction cards. Just 2 levels is usually enough depending, but personally I run a max on chem reduction. STIMS WEIGH A TON. Every 10 levels you can craft a new backpack that holds more weight up to level 50. There's a BETTER backpack. You get it from the scouts quests, there is VIDEOS so you can handle that yourselves. If you do these right, you'll pretty much never go over weight.
Really great Guide! What other legendary perk cards would you suggest at level 192? Been using a lever action and a fixer single shot. What mods would you suggest for the fixer?
The extra legendary cards depend on what fits how you play. I liked What Rads for full health. Legendary SPECIALs are always good. For Fixer, calibrated receiver, forceful stock, reflex site, suppressor, aligned long barrel, I'd probably go swift magazine. Perforating is also a good option but increases AP cost by a bit.
If you get a suppressed Hunting Rifle and go 50cal receiver or prime and have Instigating... great daily driver. Sneak around an one shot quite a lot.
better to stick with 308 ammo until you are near 50. 50 cal ammo is hard to find and an annoyance to craft. Prime ammo is even worse.

How do you combat the carry capacity problem?

I know the feeling....so I created a silent guss rifle....it helps in vats to make up the damage..

Great (important) details!
i run the western spirit a lot with my build that is similar to this.

Scorch can spawn with 40mm nade launcher that was the boom.
Non vats build possibly?

@@wiggle_plays woo! Sweet didn’t know it was made.
Level 50 is early game??? What happened to level 2-49? Those would seem “earlier” than 50.
I'll take my burning love bow, thx
Stop with the vats
