New Starter from 1AAuto.com trq.video/ia-1...
This video shows you how to install a new starter on your 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500. The starter is a powerful electric motor that gets your engine to turn over when you turn the key in the ignition switch. If a motor has worn out or become damaged, your vehicle won’t start.
This repair was done on a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Base 5.9L Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
1994 Dodge Ram 2500
1995 Dodge Ram 2500
1996 Dodge Ram 2500
1997 Dodge Ram 2500

1999 Dodge Ram 2500

May want to specify what Dodge 2500. Great video but it doesn’t apply to my Dodge 2500 that is a diesel. 3 bolts that require a 10 mm e-torque socket. Also instead of a clip, it’s a 1/4 or 5/16 nut that comes off for the ground screw. 16mm is correct for the hot wire. Battery on my 2500 diesel is 12mm not 11 mm. Not bashing your video, just needs more specific title. Great video for a gas burner.
I just saved myself a hundred and fifty bawks
Our Gen 2 Cummins just clicks when trying to start and when trying again, it will start or click a few more times then start. Do u think it’s the solenoid or starter? Thanks
Great video I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT 3.9 tried to put new starter in and for the life of me I cannot get the signal wire plugged in on the starter it does not push in all the way are literally tried this for an hour and then gave up
my question is why don't u guys show the full video you guys make it look easy
Didn't show removing the top bolt
What to do if starter won't come out after bolts are removed
This video is a lie!. I have the 2001 5.9 cummins my power wire was a 24mm
