Love your farm videos. I grew up in Northwest Indiana in Crown Point.A nice small town one hour away from Chicago. Enjoyed the Summers there.Shopping at farm stands.Going to farms with my Mom and sister to pick fresh blueberries and corn. I wish you, your Dad and family continued happiness and success with your farming business.
Erin, I am 67 years old and I can’t wait to see your videos. Your Mom and Dad did a fantastic job raising you. You are so real and down to earth and Rosco doesn’t hurt your appeal. Love your content, keep up the great work! We love ya 😀
an old man in thailand said to me "when we die all the animals we were good at in life are waiting for us to accompany us to the beyond so that we don't have to go alone". what a nice thought.
Great video ! You give us a glimpse of how Roscoe has taken to you. Very soothing to the soul to watch animals, wild and domestic, bonding with us. Thank you and please keep that beautiful smile and positive attitude !
You are so lucky to have such an adorable friend. Make it your goal to do everything you can to make sure he has a wonderful life. He is making the world just that little bit better.
I love Raccoons .Roscoe is so cute and adorable. Thank you so much for being kind to animals. The World would be a nicer place to live in if we had more kind good hearted people like you around
I can tell you are a wonderful person and I like how you care for animals. It's neat to watch Roscoe. The raccoons where I work always run away. I think it's funny how raccoons hold food in their little paws and dip food in water to wash/soften it or whatever. Thank you for sharing, have a great weekend!
Erin, my wife watched this with me tonight, a conservative wildlife biologist......(figured that needing saying); Immediately said the sugar in doughnuts/grapes will make Roscoe's teeth rotten. Personally, hope not; but know she's usually right about stuff like that.....so thought I would mention it to you. Me; like many others, appreciate the therapeutics effects of watching a mostly wild racoon eating. Calming is an understatement! Makes for Happy farming.
He's so beautiful. This is the best of both worlds - being able to see and interact with him and bring him grapes from time to time but him also being able to enjoy his natural habitat. I'm not gonna lie, I love these little guys and seeing them on TH-cam but it makes me so sad when I see the ones that are cooped up in a house and domesticated when it really doesn't seem like that's the ideal situation for them. Thank you for sharing this little sweetie with us!
He'll be fine, as they mature they get less and less tolerable to human interaction, although, he will always gladly accept treats. Don't be sad if he gets less friendly.
100% true. I raised one until adulthood , then he got mean. There were alot of females around and probably in heat so him being caged wasn't a good idea. So we let him go in a State park.
There is just something about you Erin that makes you stick out so well! Maybe it's because of the hard work you do with you're father. As someone who knows how frustrating working with your father can get. 😂 (👨🔧) For me it is just so satisfying to know not all girls in America are on the internet doing unspeakable acts :/ I do not know how I came across your channel, but I am really glad I did! Keep it up - new subscriber ! 🙏
Dear Erin...thank you for your fearless and charmingly personal living diary. Your cinema technique of classic single, two shot, master shot, framing, and close-up balance is as compelling as your narrative; and your palette of expressions with that top smile brings it all together...a lot of work!
Erin, thanks for sharing your daily life and raccoon with us. You emit a realness that goes past good looks that i believe people are graviting to. Best wishes to you and your family.
Seems like you're doing a lot of good thanks for sharing, God bless you, Good to know that there are people like you out there. Keep it simple I love it...
I am surprised he isn’t more aggressive . My daughter volunteered at a nature center to help with baby raccoons that were brought in. As they were getting more mature they would be more aggressive toward handlers. She helped with baby Squirrels and possums too. Glad Roscoe is gentle with you.
It is good that Roscoe is being shy and hesitant. He is gaining independence. Don't over feed him as he needs to learn to forage to make it on his own (he does have one heck of a sweet tooth). I expect it is hard to let him go but you have done him a lot of good so far. I wish him the best and hope the winter isn't too hard on him.
I do love raccoons. They are born trouble makers and can not even come close to being domesticated but they do have their endearing qualities. I watch raccoons every single night at bedtime on TH-cam @ James Blackwood Raccoon Whisperer and it is unbelievably relaxing. There are 25 of them this year and we who watch them get to know them by sight and personality. They are all different and are each just fascinating animals. They are smart. They know their names and respond to James when he calls them or even scolds "for bad table manners." They really are a hoot. If you want a good restful nights sleep give them a look see.
I accidentally ran into your channel. Keep up the videos. As someone from SoCal, it’s great to see a slice of life that’s completely different than mine. It’s a great insight into the farming life. I hope you continue filming and uploading videos. I’m waiting to see what happens in between harvesting. 🤔
Rosco, plus several kittens equals SO MUCH CUTENESS!!!!! I might go into cuteness overload! She claims he's wild, yet he eats out of her hands and allows her to pet him. TOO CUTE!
Good ol' Roscoe! Good to see him getting some camera time! He's looking healthy! Fit for winter! 😉 and of course Erin, you're pretty as a picture, as always! 😍😍😍 love the video, see you in the next one!
Roscoe validates his friendship, with Erin, by doing what he can to please her. He is territorial and "on security guard" for intruders 24/7. There's nothing better then when one can help a domesticated or wild animal in need. Thank You Erin.....
Sooo sleepy. Poor Roscoe. It'd be cool to get some evening footage of the lil'guy when he's bright eyed and bushy tailed. BTW. Thanks for your work with the videos. Super entertaining!
A few others have made the same comment but I also had a raccoon for a summer that started out like a pet but definitely turned back to it’s wild side by the fall. Part of this video looked like Roscoe wanted to swat you or the kitten. He will stay tame for food but will likely become aggressive. Love your channel and the experiences you share
Lmao I love that Roscoe! He's so funny and the kittens too. I do believe he could eat you out of house and home if you let him. Lol Thanks for sharing. :-)

When I was a toddler we had a pet skunk. he was leash trained and we lived on base (my dad was a marine sergeant in north Carolina. The skunk's name was lieutenant. My dad thought it was funny to walk him on base and call him by name. "Come on lieutenant. Come on." As he got older he became more "wild" and we had to release him as he wasn't a good pet around kids. Good luck with Roscoe. They don't always domesticate well.
So..being from the UK..Do Racoon's hiberate Erin?..He's incredibly cute..but still a wild Animal...So did he just turn up? or was he a rescue animal? what was the go? Cj UK

Especially when said doughnut is in the hands of such an amazingly capable , breathtakingly beautiful woman!
As a retired deputy sheriff I fully support Roscoes choice
@Andrew Bennett and so then that makes you a misogynist
